If you’re a cold cut enthusiast like myself, then you’re probably familiar with Boar’s Head. It’s a reliable brand you’ll find at pretty much any grocery store. But just because they’ve been around forever and make the smoked turkey you get on every deli sandwich doesn’t mean they don’t have a few tricks up their sleeve. Boar’s Head has introduced a new offering to its lineup: fried turkey. (Yes, you read that right. Fried. Turkey. We’re paying attention.)

Boar’s Head adds fried turkey to its deli meats

Meat and sandwich lovers will want to get their hands on Boar’s Head’s newest fried turkey as soon as possible. Formally recognized as The Fryer’s Deep Fried Turkey Breast, this turkey is cold-brined, oven-roasted, and then fried. It’s finished with beechwood smoked onion, smoked garlic powder, black and pink peppercorns, paprika, and turmeric for a savory flavor — if you’re into spices, then you’ll love this.

Aside from being flavorful, it also is packed with 13 grams of protein per two ounce serving and contains no artificial colors, flavors, MSG, or fillers. Oh, and it’s gluten-free too so if you have dietary restrictions you can enjoy this new turkey offering no problem.
