Remember those Gushers commercials from the ’90s? Described by people online as “Cronenberg-esque,” they featured children whose heads transform into hideous fruits (including a coconut, which was baffling given that coconut Gushers don’t even exist). Anyway, the news I’m about to tell you has me feeling like one of those fruit-headed children, because new Gushers flavors are coming—and that’s not all.

New Gushers AND new Fruit Roll-Ups AND new Fruit by the Foot
General Mills is going all out with an exciting new lineup of fruit snacks from Gushers, Fruit by the Foot, and Fruit Roll-Ups! They’re also sneaking their way into the industry-wide move to make foods with no colors from artificial sources. The lineup coming to stores nationwide includes the following summer-inspired flavors:
Gushers Lemonade Mix: A mix of pink lemonade, limeade, blue raspberry lemonade, and cherry limeade flavors delivering a tangy-sweet burst mimicking the classic, refreshing drink.
Fruit by the Foot Splitz: A delicious taste of peach and blueberry in a dual-flavor, pull-apart roll, allowing you to twist, mix or enjoy each flavor on its own for a customizable snack experience.
Fruit Roll-Ups Rainbow Sherbet: A trio of raspberry, lemon, and orange creamsicle flavors in a single, mouthwatering roll reminiscent of the frozen treat.
They all sound refreshing, right? According to General Mills, all of these are rolling out to stores nationwide as we speak.
Also, Gushers is entering the candy aisle!
There’s a first time for everything! Though it seems like an already candy-adjacent food to begin with, Gushers is officially breaking into the space.
Inspired by the current sour candy craze and swicy (sweet + spicy) trends, they’re marking this launch with two new products: Gushers Super Sour and Gushers Sweet & Fiery. Both start with the iconic Gushers burst-ful technology and add a sour/swicy twist to the classic. Gushers Super Sour and Gushers Sweet & Fiery are available in the candy aisle at Target.
