Sweetgreen just launched all new menu items that have even more protein than their protein plates, which might need a name change?

Here’s the deal: Sweetgreen, the fast casual chain known for its salads, bowls ,and protein plates, has announced they’ve found another way to present their vegetable selections: wraps!
And yeah, these new wraps are mostly variations on flavors and mixes Sweetgreen has been offering with their salads, but I used to live off Sweetgreen for a while (it’s almost a cliche for LA business lunches), and I’ve never been disappointed by their big, tasty bowls. Here’s what they’re adding to the menu.
New Sweetgreen wraps have plenty of protein
Sweetgreen already offers protein plates with steak, salmon, or chicken, but these new wraps pack even more protein per meal, with each one offering between 37 to 49 grams of protein. (Most of the protein plates offer 34 grams of protein, with only the Hot Honey Chicken offering 49 grams.)
They’re priced below $15 each (specifically between $12.45 to $14.45 here in California), so you’re definitely getting a good amount of protein for your money.
Oh, and each wrap is wrapped with an olive oil tortilla, which, as the brand points out, is free of seed oils and preservatives. They’re available now, nationwide.
What wraps are they offering?
Sweetgreen is offering four new wraps in their line up, including one limited edition wrap. Here’s the lineup:

Classic Chicken Caesar (47g protein)
“Your go-to classic, elevated—made for easy, familiar lunches that always hit: antibiotic-free roasted chicken, parmesan crisps, shaved parmesan, garlic breadcrumbs and chopped romaine, tossed in caesar dressing with a squeeze of lemon.”
Chicken Jalapeño Ranch (41g protein)
“A burrito-inspired Wrap with antibiotic-free roasted chicken, warm white rice, corn salsa, white cheddar and pickled onions, finished with spicy charred jalapeño ranch.”
Cali Chicken Club (49g protein)
“Antibiotic-free roasted chicken, avocado, crumbled bacon, tomatoes and chopped romaine, finished with garlic aioli.”
KBBQ Chicken (37g protein)
“Antibiotic-free roasted chicken, white rice, napa cabbage slaw, apple kimchi sauce and crispy onions, finished with KBBQ drizzle. This is that limited time wrap I mentioned, as it will only be available until August 11.
