Mountain Dew Baja Cabo Citrus and Baja Caribbean Splash are coming…to Canada!
Renders of both Baja Cabo Citrus and Baja Caribbean Splash have leaked from Pepsi Canada’s product locator, indicating that the two Baja Blast spinoff flavors will be dropping on shelves soon.
Word has it they will be exclusive to Circle K and Couche-Tard (a Canadian convenience store chain). And they’re both dropping in new 355 ml slim cans rather than the 473 ml big cans. Cute!
What flavors are Baja Cabo Citrus and Baja Caribbean Splash?
Baja Cabo Citrus first launched in the U.S. in 2025. The flavors are orange and lime—and that’s pretty much what it tastes like! It’s like a good orange soda with a twist of zesty lime. Our own Tyler Bowers gave it a decent enough review when it first dropped.
Baja Cabo Citrus got a relaunch in the U.S. this past January with the promise that it will stick around for a full 52 weeks. And this time, it’s made without artificial dyes. Tyler got an early taste of the 2026 Baja Cabo Citrus and actually preferred it to the 2025 version. (No word on the formula being dropped in Canada, but our neighbors in the north are much stricter about artificial dyes than the U.S., so I’d bet they’re getting the artificial color-free version.)
Baja Caribbean Splash is a seasonal, guava-flavored soda that first dropped in 2023 and is currently unavailable in the U.S. It gained a fervent fandom as exemplified in this Reddit thread in which people are boasting about having hoarded cans and others are suggesting purchasing the discontinued flavor via Discord. All they have to do now is take a little trip over the border.
When will these Baja flavors be available? And for how long?
We expect both flavors to drop soon—in time for summer. But, per the renders, these Baja flavors are both limited edition offerings, so they probably won’t be around for long after summer. Fourth of July trip to Vancouver to escape the chaos of the U.S. and stock up on some Baja? Who’s in?!
