Buffalo Wild Wings is playing a dangerous game. They’ve invoked the go-to move for a restaurant facing financial troubles – the “bottomless” promotion. No, they’re not Winnie the Poohing. BWW took to social media this past week to remind people of their bottomless apps deal and how it really works. The move comes after the restaurant chain announced numerous store closures planned throughout 2026 – even after they won their years-in-litigation boneless wings lawsuit.

All your group can eat, for $9.99.

I’ll give Buffalo Wild Wings credit where it’s due. It’s a hell of a deal. There are some caveats though (aren’t there always?). Appetizers are served in pairs for a group of up to four people. You can add additional guests for $2.99 each. The base $9.99 price covers unlimited mozzarella sticks, fried pickles, chips and salsa, onion rings, and hatch queso.

You can upgrade the lineup to include cheese curds and chips and guacamole for an extra $3. The promo runs from now until June 10.

BWW’s inadvertently opened the floodgates.

For some reason, Buffalo Wild Wing’s post has become a meeting place for everyone to share their grievances with the chain. The replies are filled with people sharing their experiences with bad service, poor food quality, and concerns for the servers who have to deal with the impact of this promo.

Maybe it’s just me but when I walk into a chain restaurant, especially one running a bottomless apps for $9.99 promo, I know what I’m signing up for. Questionable quality food that’s going to fill me up for the next six days and I’m prepared to leave a heavy tip to make up for my actions.

I have a soft spot for Buffalo Wild Wings after my many trips in high school. If they’re announcing a bottomless promo, at the same time as they’re closing stores, then I’m prepared to go down with the ship. I’ll see you all there!
