Circle K’s Got A New Menu Fully Inspired By One Candy

Circle K, you have our attention! The convenience and gas station chain is kind of an unlikely place to find food collabs and exclusives, but find them there you will. Over the last couple of months, we’ve seen a flurry of Circle K-specific news tidbits cross our desk, mainly concerning its drinks selection and the companies that have chosen to bring their wares there. A new Monster Ultra flavor, C4’s new summer lineup, Mountain Dew’s Star Spangled Splash (in frozen form) …all of them have shown up at its door.

Now, though, it’s different – because Circle K hasn’t just got an exclusive item; it’s got an exclusive menu. And it’s all inspired by one retro candy. Here’s what you need to know. 

Circle K x Butterfinger

Circle K has just announced that it’s partnering with Butterfinger on a new lineup of bakery items, all of which are inspired by the candy bar’s classic flavors. According to its press release, this partnership is Circle K’s bid to tap into “little treat culture,” which, honestly, I approve of. I love little treat culture. I’m a connoisseur of little treat culture. The more little treats, the better in my book!

As such, Circle K customers now have four new items to munch and sip on. And they are:

• Butterfinger Brownie: A chocolate brownie studded with Butterfinger pieces, and topped with shards of the candy bar’s filling.
• Butterfinger Cookie: A soft-baked chocolate chip cookie, with Butterfinger pieces mixed in.
• Butterfinger Rice Crispy: A spin on a Rice Krispies Treat here, with Butterfinger flavor running through it, and topped with – as you can probably imagine! – Butterfinger pieces and chocolate. 
• Butterfinger Cappuccino: A cappuccino boosted with Butterfinger flavors. That’s all. But c’mon. That’s good. 

According to Butterfinger, the choice to work with Circle K felt very easy, due to its on-the-go attitude and style of service. “Partnering with Circle K felt natural because these are the moments their customers already know and love,” Yann Bastien, Butterfinger, Baby Ruth & Co’s vice president of marketing, said in the press release. “A brownie at lunch, a cappuccino on the way to work; Butterfinger just made those everyday moments a whole lot better.”

But Where? And When?

Well, it should come as no surprise that these are all available at…Circle K! The new Butterfinger menu is available nationwide. It’ll only be there through September 1, though, so you have three months to try them all. One little treat every three weeks…we think you can do it.
