Football fans are really eating right now. Literally. Everywhere you look you’ll find a new World Cup collaboration in the food space. Church’s Texas Chicken wanted to join in the celebrations by bringing fans together through food, fandom, and shared moments all tournament long. The first gift they’re dropping is a meal deal that’s large enough to feed a whole stadium.

Introducing “The Golazo Meal”
The Golazo Meal is built for feeding a crowd. Whether it’s your entire family, or the chosen crowd at your World Cup watch party, no one’s going hungry if this is around. In the Golazo Meal, you’ll get 20 pieces of chicken legs, thighs, or tenders, four large classic sides, ten honey butter biscuits, and a limited-edition soccer―football―ball!
Church’s aims for the collectible World Cup soccer balls to extend the fun beyond the meal. You’ll have something lasting (besides a satisfied stomach) that you can use on the field, bring to the park, or add to your collection. We’re in the golden age of collecting, after all. Church’s is further extending the momentum by releasing four exclusive soccer ball designs inspired by the United States, Brazil, Argentina, and Mexico. A new design will be released each week so you have more reason to come back or pick the right week to get your favorite.
The Collectible Box
Church’s isn’t planning on just feeding our stomachs, they’re also going after our souls! Okay, that sounds scary. I just mean they’re giving us fun art too. As part of its summer of soccer celebration, Church’s is also bringing the spirit of the game into its restaurants through design. For a limited time, guests may receive select meals in a custom, soccer-inspired box created by New Orleans-based multidisciplinary artist Courtney “Ceaux” Buckley, whose bold, expressive style reflects the energy and movement of soccer and the World Cup.
And There’s A Block Party To Celebrate
Extending the World Cup celebrations into the community, Church’s is partnering with Big Brothers Big Sisters of America in Houston to host a soccer clinic for more than 40 local youth ages 10 to 17, focused on skill building, teamwork and mentorship.
Additionally, Church’s will also host a block party open to the public on June 27th from 9:00AM to 12:00pm CT at 12131 Kirby Drive, Houston, TX 77045. The party will feature music, games, food, and branded giveaways. The chain restaurant will also contribute $1,000 to support local mentorship programming, reinforcing its commitment to making a lasting impact in the Houston community.
