The Freezer Section Just Got An Upgrade to Make Your Summer A Little Tastier

Your easy summer meals just got a little better thanks to Conagra Brands! Now, you’ve probably not heard of Conagra (unless you’re a bit of a nerd like us and follow PR news). But we know you’ve definitely heard of at least one of the brands under them. Well, they just released a huge summer refresh, offering new, tasty frozen items to add to your grocery haul.

These offerings are following what the people want and how they eat while providing convenience for those with busy schedules. Noelle O’Mara, president, Refrigerated & Frozen, Conagra Brands says “Our new offerings bring together leading brands that consumers trust combined with fresh ideas inspired by the ways they shop, cook and share meals.” We looked at the list, we’re ready to try them all. But we decided to highlight just a few of what we thought were the best offerings. For the rest of the new items, you’ll have to check out your store’s frozen aisle. 

Banquet

Everyone knows Banquet. And while you usually associate with their fried chicken, they have plenty more to offer. And their newest release is frozen sausage patties. But these aren’t your average, dinky sausage patties. These are sandwich sized patties. They’ve been designed to fit perfectly on your English muffin. No more tiny patties and unsatisfying bites of breakfast sandwich because your patty was too small. This is perfect for those breakfast preppers who like batch making and freezing their own breakfast sandwiches. 

Banquet isn’t stopping there though. They’re going back to what they’re good at: chicken. They are introducing MEGA chicken tenders. These hefty tenders pack a whopping 16g of protein for just two tenders. They’re seasoned to perfection and ready for you to heat and eat. They come in original crispy and spicy crispy. And to add a little fun, they’re also adding Vlasic Dill Pickle flavored fillets to their roster.

Whole Meal Offerings

There are several whole meal offerings that are coming to several of their brands, including Bertolli, Dolly Parton, evol, Healthy Choice, Marie Callender’s, and Hungry-Man. The common thread for these meals? More protein for your meal. As consumers start to look for healthier choices, that includes looking to up their protein intake. Conagra is answering that call by providing exactly what you want. More protein.

Healthy Choices new offerings have between 12-15 grams of protein on top of being a good source of fiber, too. Several of the new meals even feature the GLP-1 “On Track” badge so they’re easy to find on the shelf. Evol isn’t about to get left behind, they’re releasing several new protein bowls, including Mac & Beef, 3 Cheese Chicken & Rice, and Buffalo Style Chicken Mac.

Can’t Forget the Veggies

A well rounded meal includes some veg, but with grocery prices getting so high, sometimes it’s hard to add them in. Conagra has dedicated themselves to serving up frozen veggies that are just as good as fresh for a lower price. Birds Eye is releasing a variety of new veggie side dishes to pack a punch of flavor to your meal while making it balanced. New offerings include Creamed Spinach, Cheesy Broccoli Mac & Cheese, Fire-Roasted Super Sweet Corn, and Mexican Street Corn. 

With so many new offerings, we can’t wait to hit the frozen aisle and plan some great meals. Conagra has summer shaping up to be absolutely delicious.
