Burger King Just Released Two New Sandwiches

Chicken sandwich enthusiasts, big Burger King news just dropped that’s going to make your summer so much better. If you love grabbing the Original Chicken Sandwich as your go-to order here, you’re about to have even more options to choose from. The classic chicken sandwich is getting upgraded in two very different ways this summer.

Fast food restaurants might be competing for your attention with the ongoing chicken sandwich craze, but we think these new Burger King versions just might excite your taste buds most of all.

Two New Chicken Sandwiches

Yep, you read that right: Burger King is upping its game and blessing chicken sandwich fans with not one, but two new additions. Both are spins on the chain’s Original Chicken Sandwich, which first debuted back in 1979. The two sandwiches joining Burger King’s current lineup are the Loaded Jalapeño Original Chicken Sandwich and the Club Chicken Original Chicken Sandwich.

The Loaded Jalapeño Original Chicken Sandwich is a spiced-up spin on the original white meat chicken patty that features crispy and pickled jalapeños, crispy onions, creamy jalapeño sauce, and the typical toppings (lettuce, tomatoes, and American cheese). The Club Chicken Original Chicken Sandwich, on the other hand, is inspired by the ingredients of a classic club. Bite into this variation and you’ll find crispy bacon, mayonnaise, and the same staples of lettuce and tomatoes—though Swiss cheese replaces the American.

Both of these new chicken concoctions were created based on customer feedback. According to Joel Yashinsky, Chief Marketing Officer, Burger King US&C, the fast food restaurant took customers’ love of the Original Chicken Sandwich into consideration: “Through our ongoing Guest listening initiative, we heard just how passionate fans are about this sandwich, and how excited they are for new twists on it. The Loaded Jalapeño and Club flavors are our way of celebrating that love while adding something new to the lineup.”

When Can You Order Burger King’s Newest Sandwiches?

You don’t have to wait long to get your hands on the Loaded Jalapeño Original Chicken Sandwich and the Club Chicken Original Chicken Sandwich. Both new additions will debut at participating Burger King locations nationwide beginning July 7th (so you can compare them against the original ASAP, obviously).

However, it’s important to know that these fresh fast food chicken sandwiches aren’t sticking around forever. They’ll only be around for a limited time—so while we don’t have a set date that they’ll disappear, you should plan to give them a try before summer wraps up.
