Strawberry Milkshake Cookies: A New Frontier

The Graceful Cookie Co.’s Strawberry Milkshake Cookie recently took home the Most Innovative New Product Award in the baked goods category at the 2026 Sweets & Snacks Expo – and with it, showed us that milkshakes and cookies can exist as one. Inspired by the diner classic, the Strawberry Milkshake Cookie is a combination of a soft, pillowy cookie with a gloriously cracked crust, imbued with strawberry and dairy flavors. 

According to The Graceful Cookie Co., the invention of the Strawberry Milkshake Cookie was prompted by a desire to bring a sense of the past to people’s lives and tastebuds. “We know how nostalgic cookies in particular can be for people of all ages, so it was really important to us to deliver that authentic, positive sense-memory from childhood of the perfect cookie but also have fun with the flavors,” said Chef David Dodson, baker and owner of The Graceful Cookie Co., in a press release. “We’re really proud of what we’ve been able to create using clean ingredients and never compromising on quality.” Given that the Strawberry Milkshake Cookie won over 500 other submissions in the category, we’d say that it’s done just that.

The win is a coup for the California-based company, which has made its name on offering dessert-inspired cookies alongside a bunch of classic favorites. Amongst its Chocolate Chip and Oatmeal Raisin cookies are also Blueberry Pie, Blueberry Cheesecake, and Mexican Wedding Cake flavors. It’s clearly a business that wants to push the boundaries of what a cookie can be, without taking them into weird, wacky territory. Respect.
