Conagra Sweets & Snack Expo Foods

The Sweets & Snacks Expo is a big deal in the food world, and it gives people like us – and people like you! – a sneak peek at what’s coming up in the next 12 months. This year, some of the biggest brands around are descending on Las Vegas from May 19 (hey, that’s today!) through 21 to showcase what they’re gonna be focusing on, and we’ve already brought you a look at what Mars is launching.

Now, we’re taking a peek at fellow mega-company Conagra Brands, and all of the goodies that it’s showcasing over at booth #3205 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Let’s dive in.

Conagra Brands Sweets & Snacks: A Varied Affair

Conagra’s sweets & snacks this year can be divided up into several sections – and so we’re dutifully doing the same. We’ve got:

Meat Snacks

Slim Jim: Hot out of the gate is Slim Jim’s new cheesy flavors, in which real cheese pieces will be folded into the classic meat sticks. These will be coming in Cheddar and Cheddar Jalapeño flavors. Slim Jim is also continuing its partnership with Buffalo Wild Wings, with a new Honey BBQ flavor inspired by the restaurant’s signature tastes.
FATTY: Conagra’s FATTY Smoked Meat Sticks are receiving a big push this year, after the company acquired the brand a few years back. You’ll be able to find them in Original, Jalapeño, Honey BBQ, and Teriyaki flavors; Conagra bills them as a premium protein option.
Duke’s: Over at booth #3205, you’ll also be able to find Duke’s Smoked Short Sausages – and a new Maple Black Pepper Flavor is debuting this year, which you can try at the expo. You’ll also be able to find its Original, Hot & Spicy, and Hatch Green Chile flavors.

Popcorn

ACT II: There are four popcorn headlines at the Conagra stall this year, and ACT II’s got a new flavor: Max Blast Extra Butter Microwave Popcorn. This new option is pure movie theater magic at home, with a pourable packet to top your popcorn with extra butter flavor. Expect this one to drop in stores in the fall.

Vlasic: Vlasic Dill Pickle Popcorn is popping up (hehe) here, ahead of a store debut in the fall. This one fully jumps on the dill pickle trend that’s been sweeping up everything from lip balm to Fritos.
Orville Redenbacher’s: Orville Redenbacher’s will be dropping a new Cheddar Jalapeño seasoning, which is designed to sprinkle atop your popcorn.
Angie’s BOOMCHICKAPOP: Angie’s BOOMCHICKAPOP has two sweet flavors ready to go here: Mango Habanero, a swicy option, and Cinnamon Churro, a less swicy, but no less delicious option.

Seeds

DAVID Seeds: We love seeing seeds get a bit of attention! And DAVID Seeds is receiving just that. The sunflower seed brand is teaming up with baseball star Aaron Judge to release limited-edition packs containing Sweet & Spicy flavored seeds, which will drop more widely in June.
BiGS Seeds: BiGS Sunflower Seeds will be receiving a new collection this year: Triple Blast seeds, which will be available in Pickle Ranch and Spicy Sweet Chili. Expect these to appear in the fall.

Sweets

Snack Pack: This brand is the big one for Conagra this year on the sweet front, and it’s kicking off with Dr Pepper Juicy Gels, which we previously reported on all the way back in December. Well, now they’re arriving, with four-packs dropping in June. Snack Pack is also bringing out a Minions-themed Banana Cream Pie pudding, and it’s debuting Splash Juicy Gels in Strawberry and Orange, made with 98% fruit juice and with no artificial dyes or flavors. These will arrive around June.
