Dairy Queen Is Giving Away Free Mini Blizzards

Dairy Queen is treating DQ Rewards members to a free Mini Blizzard with any $1 or more purchase made through the DQ app or online. The offer is available through July 27th, giving fans several days to cash in on the sweet deal.

To redeem the offer, customers need to be signed into a DQ Rewards account before placing their order. If you are not already a member, joining is free and the reward will appear in eligible accounts during the promotion.

Whether it’s a drink, a side of fries, or another inexpensive menu item, spending just one dollar gets you a free Mini Blizzard.

Still One Of Dairy Queen’s Most Popular Treats

The Blizzard has been the chain’s signature dessert since forever and is still famous for its thick, creamy texture. It’s even served upside down before reaching customers, a tradition that has become one of Dairy Queen’s most recognizable trademarks.

While the free offer is for a Mini Blizzard, customers still get to enjoy the same creamy soft serve mixed with candy, cookies, or other sweet toppings. Depending on the location, favorites like Oreo, Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup, or Cookie Dough may all be available.

Dairy Queen Has Been Handing Out Summer Treats

This isn’t the first frozen freebie Dairy Queen has offered this month. This latest giveaway follows another recent DQ promotion that offered Rewards members a free Dilly Bar with a qualifying app purchase during National Ice Cream Day celebrations.

Dairy Queen has been rolling out several app-exclusive rewards throughout July, making the DQ Rewards program one of the easiest ways for regular customers to save on frozen treats.

There is also another Blizzard event right around the corner. During Miracle Treat Day, which is on July 30th, participating Dairy Queen locations donate at least $1 from every Blizzard sold to local Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. So grabbing a Blizzard later this month can satisfy a sweet tooth while supporting a good cause.
