I love a good pretzel. Who doesn’t go to the mall and get a little pretzel treat? And for some reason, that’s the only place you can get pretzels outside of stadiums. I’m a bit of a classic pretzel lover myself (though I use cream cheese as my dip of choice, trust me just try it―you’ll thank me later). But I love trying some of the more creative bites the different pretzel places put out. Like cinnamon pretzel bites? Second only to the OG pretzel.

Well, Auntie Anne’s is releasing a new pretzel nugget and I have to say, I’m really excited to try it. Auntie Anne’s is no stranger to taking their classic pretzel dough and making it better. Ever had their mini hot dog pretzel nuggets? Like a poppable corn dog but better. This new launch is even better. Because who doesn’t love some cheese stuffed bread?
A New Stuffed Pretzel
That’s right, Auntie Anne’s is launching mozzarella stuffed pretzel nuggets. It sounds like a mozzarella stick but better because there’s buttery, salty pretzel dough wrapped around it. This bite comes with a marinara sauce for dipping for that true mozz stick/Italian feeling. But no one’s limiting you from trying other dips. A little cheese on cheese action, maybe?
Launching August 5th nationwide, you can get your very own cheesy pretzel nugget at Auntie Anne’s. But don’t wait around, this offering is only for a limited time. Once they’re gone, we can only hope they get brought back. (If they’re good that is. I can’t imagine they’d be bad though.)
Auntie Anne’s is always innovative with flavors. Their pepperoni nuggets and pretzels are a good indicator that the mozzarella nuggets could come full time based on the similar flavorings. I can only hope this is a trial run for a menu revamp.
Limited Time Only
We can only hope that these will become a permanent menu item, but for now they’re only available for a limited time. So don’t wait to get your hands on these new bites.
I know I’ll have a hard time getting my hands on some as the Auntie Anne’s in my local mall closed recently and the next closest is about an hour away. Could this menu release signal a resurgence of Auntie Anne’s properties? I’ve noticed that they’re starting to become harder to find. And if you can find them, they aren’t always open. Maybe this is the breath of life the brand needs to gain some popularity back. I’ll certainly be watching to see how this release works for them. (And I’ll 100% drive the hour to try these)
