Everything In Our Publix Haul This August

August is a big month for many of us. Whether it be you or your loved ones going back to school or big travel plans, most people have something going on this month. It’s exciting to know that you have a big month ahead of you, but sometimes through big life events, it becomes difficult to keep up with the little things in our weekly routines.

Oftentimes, when I have a busy season in life, one of the things that I really struggle to maintain is creative and interesting grocery hauls. When life gets busy, it’s easier to just strip it down to the basics. And sometimes, that’s a good thing and totally encouraged. But I also know that there’s some people who, like me, wish that there was someone out there to tell them what is new and interesting in our grocery stores for the month ahead—so that you can be better equipped and don’t have to spend any longer than is necessary in the aisles. So, without further ado, here are 10 things we’re looking forward to shopping from Publix this month.

Coffee Cake Bites

When you’re busy, you don’t wanna sacrifice big flavor or satisfaction just for efficiency. Luckily, these will bring a little bit of sweetness to your morning and they’re overall a pretty new addition to Publix stores. The seasonal, limited-edition Raspberry Cream Cheese flavor sounds particularly delicious as it brings the flavor of summer berries into and on-the-go breakfast snack.

Mrs. Peters Smokehouse Blue Crab Smoked Dip

Dips are such an easy way to make a mundane food or snack instantly more interesting. Strolling the aisles of Publix I found this dip for the first time. I’ll admit, usually I’m not exploring the dips section beyond the Publix-branded goods. What intrigued me though is that this is a local item. Perhaps it’s only available at Publix locations in Florida, but the brand is owned and operated out of South Florida, so it makes perfect sense. Furthermore, it’s always exciting to see it’s made with actual blue crab meat from Florida.

Limited Edition Volcano Roll Dip

This is a Publix brand dip and I’ve been disappointed by so few in the past that this one is full of excitement for me. It’s also really nice to see Publix really exploring some more bold flavors. I grew up going to Publix and there’s been a revelatory expansion in flavors that the brand will tap into for limited-edition items. This dip is made with sweet Thai chili and gochujang sauces as the base flavor (yum!), and pieces of crab, shredded carrots, and green onion are mixed throughout. Easy weeknight hosting or hangouts is made easy with a couple of interesting dips always on hand. Plus, this one really packs in some major bang for your buck.

Rainier Cherries

That’s right folks, it’s Rainier cherry season, and we couldn’t be more excited. Rainier cherries have the sweetest, most delicate flavor and their vibrance makes them instantly enticing. Perfect for on-the-go snacking or a midday pick me up, Rainier cherries will be my fruit of choice for August.

Limited Edition Natural Mango Flavored Hibiscus Herbal Tea

As a southern brand, I think it’s pretty essential they’re able to lockdown an excellent sweet tea recipe. And Publix has done just that. Pretty much all of their teas are delicious, but they’ve even nailed the flavor teas. This one invites in the flavors of summer and would be a perfect compliment to a pub up on the beach.

Limited Edition Unsweetened Peach Flavored Black Tea

The Publix tea is so notably good that it doesn’t need to be sweet to be enjoyed. They’re unsweet. Tea is delicious straight out of the bottle, but a peach version sounds absolutely phenomenal. The small bottles are perfect to take with you on-the-go or would even make a great addition to your lunch.

Limited Edition Snack Flight Trio, Yogurt Flavored Pretzels

Publix has always had famously good yogurt covered pretzels, and every once in a while, we get lucky enough to try one of the limited-edition flavors they come out with. Now, even for the most indecisive of us, we can still snack to our heart’s delight. This trio comes with the flavors orange cream, blackberry, cobbler, and lemon coconut. Indulge in the ever present flavors of summer with this array. 

Cheez-It Crunch

New to Publix stores is the Cheez-It Crunch line. And now in Publix are two different flavors of this maxed out snack. The Sharp White Cheddar and Kickin’ Nacho Cheese flavors sound perfect for all of the back to school snacking and after work munchies. 

Ben & Jerry’s Sundae PB Blondie Bestie

New to the Ben & Jerry’s Sunday line and Publix stores is also the PB Blondie Bestie flavor of ice cream. In true Ben & Jerry’s fashion, it is absolutely loaded with different mix-ins to maximizing the flavors of caramel and peanut butter. Not only does it sounds delicious, but the peanut butter flavor is absolutely perfect for the back to school season.

DiGiorno Wood Fired Pizzas

One of the best ways to find what companies are releasing new products is just to wander the aisles of the store. But it takes time and effort that most people don’t have. But that doesn’t mean we should miss out on these new launches either. Well, DiGiorno‘s new wood-fired pizzas are now on shelves and we’re excited to try them out. They come in an array of different flavors and toppings, all of which sound classic to the brand and ultra satisfying. The Wood Fire crust that they are using on the pizza looks like a cross between a big and fluffy dough and more flatbread-styled pizzas. It looks classic and delicious.
