Get A Free Pastry This National S’Mores Day

It’s National S’Mores Day on August 10! FINALLY! Oh, you didn’t know? To be honest, neither did I: There’s a National Food Day pretty much every single day, and it’s very hard to keep track (not least because they’re, y’know, not really that noteworthy to begin with). Food companies that can find a way to position their menus with said Food Days, though, never miss a beat – and this year, we’ve seen them celebrate them like never before by giving out deals and chances to win free dishes (incidentally, if you’re near a Metro Diner tomorrow, August 8 – which is National Fried Chicken and Waffles Day – then you’re in for a shot).

The latest brand to enter the fray is Paris Baguette, which is giving out free pastries this National S’Mores Day this coming Monday. Here’s how you can get yours. 

Paris Baguette’s Pastry Giveaway

On Monday, August 10, Paris Baguette Rewards members can nab themselves a free pastry at one of its stores, with the purchase of any s’mores item from its limited-time S’mores Collection. As far as we can tell, this can be any pastry (although restrictions may apply in-store – Paris Baguette doesn’t name which ones you can and can’t get, but we can’t speak for them). 

New Menu Alert!

This giveaway feels like it’s partly to celebrate National S’mores Day, but partly to promote its new menu, which features five new s’mores-flavored items, available now. We’ve got:

• S’mores Chocolate Marshmallow Layer Cake: Available as a whole cake or a single slice, this new treat layers chocolate cake with marshmallow, chocolate mousse soft cream, and graham cracker cookie pieces, crowning it with chocolate sauce and toasted marshmallows. 
• S’mores Supreme Croissant: Paris Baguette crowns its circular croissants with marshmallow, chocolate, and graham cracker cookie pieces. They look good; they taste good. 
• S’mores Belgian Waffle: Belgian waffles topped with a hefty smear of marshmallow, drizzled with chocolate, and then finished with graham cracker cookie pieces.
• Iced S’mores Latte: If you’ve recently been thinking “wow, I really love s’mores, but wouldn’t it be great if I could drink them?” now’s your chance. Chocolate, espresso, milk, and marshmallow mixed together in an iced latte, finished with chocolate and graham cracker pieces.
• S’mores Frappe: If you’ve recently been thinking “wow, I really love s’mores, but wouldn’t it be great if I could drink them in frappe form?”…okay, you get the drill. Frozen hot chocolate is blended with marshmallow and topped with chocolate sauce and graham cracker pieces. 

So far, we haven’t spotted any other deals for National S’Mores Day; Paris Baguette might be flying the flag solo here. S’mores fans…you know where to go.
