Costco’s pizza is pretty dang good in its own right. That doesn’t mean that we can’t make it better. They are making it to fit the taste buds of the masses, after all. It’s time to make things personal! Here are a few hacks you can pull out to make your Costco pizza a little bit better.

Condiments Are Your Friend

The Costco food court offers a few condiments that are a natural fit for our pizza. There are the obvious packets of red pepper flakes and parmesan. You can also ask for a side of diced onions to add on top to bring in some real flavor.

Buy Your Own Toppings

The condiments they hand out for free at the Costco food court can be pretty limiting. Head into the store and grab anything your heart desires to put onto your pizza! We just talked about adding Fly by Jing that Costco sells in their stores, but there’s loads of other options. Add prosciutto for a fancy option, canned corn for a twist (that does work, trust), or dill pickle mayo for an easy pickle pizza.

Combine Costco Food Court Items

You can create the ultimate Costco food court item by taking a chicken bake, cutting it down the middle, placing a dog from your hot dog combo inside, and topping it with the cheese from your pizza! If you want something a little more milder, you can just wrap your pizza slice around your dog and dig in. Dealer’s choice.

Ask For Well Done

Costco’s pizza can be a little floppy. You can ask for it to be well done and the staff should give your pizza a little extra time in the oven to accommodate. Just be sure you’re not asking in the middle of a Friday evening rush! It’ll come out with a nice golden brown color on the cheese and a bit stiffer of a crust. Just the way I like it!

Call In Your Order Ahead Of Time

Waiting for your pizza at the side window can be a painstaking task! Relieve a little of the wait by calling in your order ahead of time. Your Costco food court’s number should be listed online, so just ring them up and then head in when they tell you to be there. You’ll still need to pay at the kiosk but then you can give your receipt to the staff and let them know you called ahead. You should get bumped to the front of the line and still get a hot pizza right out of the oven!
