Meet The New Halloween Fanta

The new Fanta flavor is called Ghost Face Punch. Fanta describes the limited-edition drink as a Dark Berry Punch Flavored Soda, giving it a fruity profile that fits the Halloween theme without going down the pumpkin spice route.

The Fanta Halloween soda features Ghost Face artwork that instantly reminds you of the Angry Orchard Mystery Caller.

It’s already listed on Amazon as a 12-pack of 12oz cans, giving fans an early look at the packaging and product.

No, This Is Not A Scream Collaboration

The Ghost Face mask on the Ghost Face Punch practically screams Scream, so the confusion is understandable. But this Fanta release is not a Scream collaboration.

The Ghost Face character and mask come from Fun World, which owns the Ghost Face trademark and intellectual property. Fun World’s official site lists Ghost Face as its registered property. The mask became a huge part of pop culture after appearing in the Scream movies, but Ghost Face itself has a history outside the film franchise. That is why Fanta can build a Halloween release around Ghost Face without turning the soda into a Scream-themed product.

The same goes for Scary Movie. There is no indication that this Fanta is a collaboration with that franchise either. So some of the information flying around that the Ghost Face Punch is a Scream-inspired Fanta flavor is a bit misleading.

Ghost Face Punch Is Bringing Friends

Ghost Face Punch will not be wandering into stores alone. Four other Halloween-themed Fanta cans are also expected to launch alongside the new limited-time flavor: Orange, Orange Zero Sugar, Pineapple, and Strawberry.

The new flavors fits perfectly with Fanta’s history of going big for Halloween. In August 2025, Fanta dropped a couple of Halloween flavors featuring famous horror characters, including Chucky, Michael Myers, The Grabber and Freddy Fazbear.

This year, each flavor comes with its own original Fanta horror character. Both orange flavors feature a scarecrow with a jack-o’-lantern head. The pineapple flavor’s mascot is a vampire while a werewolf represents the strawberry flavor.

When Can Fans Get It?

Fanta’s Halloween lineup is about to have a new face and it is probably one that shoppers will recognize instantly. While customers have already found cans on Amazon, the 12-pack of the new Halloween soda will be officially available starting August 28th.
