We all could use a bit of extra energy and zest in our day, right? Whether you didn’t get enough sleep last night or want an extra kick to stay up a bit later than usual, sometimes an energy drink can help. And let’s be honest, there are days when coffee just isn’t going to cut it. Now, you might not think of McDonald’s as the place to get an energy drink, however, that is about to change.

Does McDonald’s Have An Energy Drink?
Yes, McDonald’s has just added its first-ever energy drink to its menu. Enter: The Red Bull Dragonberry Energizer. It contains Red Bull’s signature flavor with blue raspberry syrup and freeze-dried dragonfruit inclusions. Basically, it’s giving fruity, colorful, and ready to wake you right up. If you’re looking for a lower sugar option? There’s also the option to substitute the beverage for a Red Bull Zero base.
Not in the mood for a fruity finish? You can also just simply purchase a can of Red Bull on its own to enjoy.
What is McDonald’s New Crafted Soda?
With the hype of dirty sodas this last year, McDonald’s has continued to experiment and now there’s a new crafted soda on the menu. Called the Vanilla Swirl, this soda combines vanilla flavor with your choice of Coca-Cola, Diet Coke or Coke Zero Sugar and is topped with creamy cold foam. Crispy coke with cold foam? Count us in. It’s giving dessert-meets-soda and we’re very much on board.
Not a fan of Coke? McDonald’s also has other options including Orange Dream with Fanta and other new reduced sugar crafted sodas with Diet Dr Pepper, Dr Pepper Zero Sugar and Sprite Zero Sugar. In other words, there are plenty of ways to get your McDonald’s soda fix without sticking to the same old order.
When Does McDonald’s New Energy Drink Come Out?
Looking for a bit of caffeine? You’ll find the Red Bull Dragonberry Energizer on the menu beginning August 17th. Get this alongside a quarter pounder and a side of fries for a meal that will satisfy all of those cravings at once.
These will only be available at participating restaurants so you’ll want to check to see if they have it before heading through the drive-thru. We’d hate for you to make the trip only to find out your local McDonald’s isn’t in on the energy drink action yet.
