Graeter’s New Ice Cream Flavors Are Screaming Fall

We are no strangers to hyping up Graeter’s great ice cream. They release great flavors regularly and we love to see them coming. And this coming fall is no different. Graeter’s has a little fall lineup ready to get your tastebuds in the mood for a sweet fall treat.

Graeter’s ice cream is known for their “French pot” process which creates a denser, more rich ice cream. It’s a process from the 1800s that Graeter’s is one of the few remaining producers of this type of ice cream. And we’ve tried their ice cream―the process is so worth it. We’re glad they’re dedicated to the tradition that started their company, even as they’ve grown and have their product in thousands of stores nationwide. It can be easy for brands to fall into the trap of sacrificing quality for ease of production. Greater’s has refused. We commend them for it. And we will certainly reap the benefits from it with this tasty ice cream. 

Every New Fall Flavor

So just what can you expect from Graeter’s this fall? Well, only the most on-theme fall flavors, of course! That’s right, it’s not fall without pumpkin. Graeter’s is bringing their Harvest Pumpkin flavor back this year. It’s a blend of real pumpkin puree and all those delightful warming spices that we love in the fall: cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, and ginger. It’s sure to be a fall favorite. 

Pumpkin isn’t the only fall flavor. And Graeter’s knows that. So their second autumnal flavor is one that sometimes gets overshadowed by her pumpkin cousin. We’re of course talking about Apple Strudel. Next to pumpkin patches, apple picking is one of the biggest fall activities, so it only makes sense to take that refreshing little apple and turn it into a flavor bomb ice cream. The Apple Strudel is a cinnamon ice cream based with baked apples and cinnamon pastry pieces as well as an icing drizzle. Get the warmth of this Bavarian dessert in an ice cream treat and have it anytime, no oven necessary.

When Can You Get The New Flavors?

Now, I’m certainly excited for these flavors. As much as I love a good pumpkin treat (only when done right―pumpkin is only done justice when it’s been properly spiced), I love apple desserts even more. When Starbucks released their Apple Crisp drinks a few years ago, I was so into them. They were fresh and cinnamony and a nice break from pumpkin, pumpkin, pumpkin. So we can’t wait for Graeter’s take on Apple Strudel.

Graeter’s fall flavors have a tiered rollout. Harvest Pumpkin will hit store shelves and their website on Friday, August 28th. Apple Crisp will release a week later on Friday, September 4th. Once both flavors are out, they will only be around for a limited time for the fall season.
