Taco Bell Just Released A New Twist On The Gordita Crunch

Taco Bell is giving one of its most famous menu items a smaller makeover. The Cheesy Gordita Crunch has inspired a new menu item called Gordita Crunch Duos, and these little tacos pack plenty of the cheesy, crunchy goodness that made the original so popular.

The new Duos are available nationwide for a limited time starting September 17th. Taco Bell is also bringing back its favorite menu item, this time with a spicy new sauce. So, there is more than one reason for Taco Bell fans to check the menu.

A Snack-Sized Makeover

The Cheesy Gordita Crunch is known for its mix of soft and crunchy textures. A crispy taco shell sits inside a warm flour flatbread, with melted cheese helping bring the two together. Taco Bell fills it with seasoned beef, lettuce, and Spicy Ranch sauce. The new Gordita Crunch Duos take that familiar idea and make it snack-sized.

Each $5.49 order comes with two Duos. Customers can choose grilled, marinated steak, or slow-roasted chicken as the protein. The filling also includes Taco Bell’s three-cheese blend, creamy chipotle sauce, crisp lettuce, and freshly made pico de gallo.

The new Duos also give fans something the regular Cheesy Gordita Crunch does not: a choice between steak and chicken instead of the usual seasoned beef. 

The $9 Box Packs In Even More Tacos

Anyone who looks at two snack-sized tacos and thinks, “That probably won’t be enough,” has another option.

The new $9 Discovery Luxe Box comes with the new Gordita Crunch Duos, a Doritos Locos Taco, a Crunchy Taco, chips with nacho cheese sauce, and a medium fountain drink.

That is a lot more food than the two Duos by themselves, so the box is a way to sample the new item without giving up some of Taco Bell’s other familiar favorites.

Crispy Chicken Crunchwrap Sliders Are Back

The Gordita Crunch Duos are not the only limited-time item arriving on September 17th. Taco Bell is also bringing back its Crispy Chicken Crunchwrap Sliders. This time, there is a new sauce joining the party: Hidden Valley Diablo Ranch.

The sliders combine crispy chicken with tortilla chips, pico de gallo, and Taco Bell’s three-cheese blend, all wrapped inside a warm flour tortilla. The Diablo Ranch sauce adds a spicy ranch kick to the returning favorite.

The sliders are smaller than a traditional Crunchwrap, making them another option for anyone who wants something that feels more like a snack than a full meal.
