Chick-fil-A Just Added To The Menu & We’re Excited For The Sandwich

We’ve got some exciting news from one of your favorite chicken joints. Who doesn’t love some Chick-fil-A? But I do need you to understand that this is still rumor-based. And while it hasn’t been confirmed by CFA, we can assume based on social media and some eagle-eyed fans that the menu update for winter is true. Things can always change before the official announcement, but this menu drop has us too excited to wait for a press release.

A Brand New Sauce

Now this first drop? This one is the most solid because we’ve seen reports and posts of it already being out in stores. Chick-fil-A is dropping a brand new sauce to their lineup. They know you love the Chick-fil-A sauce―it’s their most popular for a reason. Well, they’re turning up the dial by making a new, spicy version! That’s right, that same tasty Chick-fil-A sauce goodness is now spicy. I know plenty of people who will be all over that. (I’ll just stick with the regular sauce, but I’m happy for the spice lovers). 

Some Returning Faves

This next one is still rumored, but given that it’s a seasonal rotation, I think it’s safe to assume the peppermint chip drinks are coming back this year. You can get peppermint chip as an iced coffee, a milkshake, and a frosted coffee. All three will be that perfect blast of peppermint with smooth chocolatey goodness. Chick-fil-A brings it back every year for a reason. 

The new rumored drink is a line of Cherry Berry. You can get the Cherry Berry syrup mixed with Sprite, Cunjoy, Lemonade, or Frosted Lemonade. Tart cherry and sweet berries? Oh, I’m so in. That Cherry Berry Sprite is just calling my name. Now while we can assume the peppermint is dropping for winter and the holidays, the Cherry Berry is a little more in flux and could come as late as the new year. Which, frankly? Disappointing. They know they can’t tease us like that, right?

A Brand New Sandwich (And More)

Finally, we have the addition of a possible new sandwich. This sandwich has been taste tested with highly positive reviews. And honestly, checking out the picture? Yeah, I can see why. The new sandwich is an Avocado Sriracha BLT.

I know what you’re thinking―the chicken place is doing a BLT? But this isn’t just a normal deluxe chicken sandwich with bacon and Sriracha sauce. This sandwich comes on a special Sriracha swirl toast, Sriracha sauce, and avocado. This sounds like a dreamy, spicy, creamy sandwich of my dreams. Hopefully it’s not a limp disappointment like some CFA sandwiches have been. This one really has potential.

And that’s not the only food. There’s also the return of the classic chicken tortilla soup. The soup is similar to the sauce in that we are seeing some stores reporting that they’re already getting stock in and have started selling it. So, you may be able to get this fan fave really soon! I love the tortilla chicken soup. On a cold day? Perfect bowl of delicious to warm up with.

So, we’ve got a bit of a staggered winter release. Not everything can be a banger―enjoy your chocolate and toothpaste, but I’m good, thanks. But a new sandwich has some solid promise.
