If you’ve been a reader here at Sporked for a while, you’ll be well aware that we are major fans of the products that Tillamook puts out. Not only is it a feel-good company to support as it is a farmer-owned cooperative, but pretty much every single product they release is a home-run hit.

From 10 out of 10 ice cream flavors that are somehow nostalgic and innovative at the same time to some of the most satisfying and consistently well made domestic cheeses available en masse, we’re Tillamook’s biggest fans and seem to be more obsessed with each new release.
We’re simply the luckiest ducks this holiday season as Tillamook’s giving us even more to love, all wrapped up in an extra special way to make our holidays just that little bit more merry. Let’s breakdown what they’ve concocted for us this year, shall we?
The 12 Days Of Cheese-Mas
Honestly, I think the gift of special cheeses at the holidays is a pretty slam dunk idea. Not only does every holiday get-together have some form of snacking where cheese would be appropriate, but with cozy evenings at home filled with comforting food being a pinnacle of the season’s attraction, then there’s really no way to go wrong with cheese. That is, unless you are lactose intolerant.
Regardless, whether or not you’re getting this as a gift for something like a white elephant gift exchange or just getting it for yourself to enjoy throughout the month of December, Tillamook’s offering of their 12 Days of Tillamook Countdown Calendar is one that’s going to be hard for us to resist.
We’re Cheesing Over These Details
The set is a series of blind box-style cheeses including the most nuanced and complex cheeses that Tillamook produces. From Maker’s Reserve Cheddars to Farmers Collection Truffle White Cheddar, this box is packing in double the amount of cheeses as it did last year. And honestly, as we read deeper into it, the set just sounds better and better. Considering that a single block of the 10-Year Aged Maker’s Cheddar costs around $20, the fact that you can get all 12 of these cheeses in this calendar for $115 has us giddy.
$115 may seem steep, but the overall value and consideration of how much all this would cost you individually makes it a lot more digestible. If you, dear reader, are anything like us, you’d probably be buying the equivalent of that much cheese throughout the course of the holidays anyhow. Plus, the surprise nature of the countdown gives an extra dose of attraction on top of the guarantee in quality and flavor that comes from the brand’s legacy.
