McDonald’s has had a big year when it comes to drinks. The first half of 2026 saw the chain drop its brand-new drinks menu, which launched to much fanfare, much response from both customers and McDonald’s staff, and much discussion about the direction it was heading in. As the months pressed on, McDonald’s continued to supply folks everywhere with new items in its McCafé line. The continued intention was clear: It wasn’t shying away from beverages.

We’ve been reminded of that yet again this week, with the news that McDonald’s is bringing out a new frozen drink. Fans of Red Bull White Peach will be very pleased – but you might have to wait a few months until you can try it.
McDonald’s Frozen Sprite White Peach
This week, @markie_devo and @SodaSeekers (aka Sporked’s own Griffin Parker) have reported that McDonald’s has just dropped new Frozen Sprite White Peach at certain restaurants. Curiously, this drink is now available at select McDonald’s across the country, ahead of an expected national rollout in Spring 2027. Why McDonald’s has taken this staggered release route is unclear; maybe it’s trying to build buzz, or maybe it’s figuring out how to angle the drink for a wider audience. If you’re keen to be one of the first people to try it, though, check your McDonald’s app to see if it’s available near you.
Anyway, let’s talk about the flavor of this thing. It looks to be pretty close to last summer’s Red Bull White Peach (albeit a less caffeinated version), which we were fans of when we tried – and if McDonald’s can nail the ripe peach flavor of that drink here, they’ll be onto a winner. McDonald’s holding off on a wider release of this specific flavor is probably wise, considering that peaches and warmer weather go hand in hand.
You Win Some, You Lose Some
I’ve gotta say that this flavor sounds pretty good – and McDonald’s needs a win in the beverage department, particularly when it comes to fruity/fruit-adjacent options. It’s safe to say that we were not fans of its recent caramel apple drinks: It’s Caramel Apple Iced Coffee received a single 1 out of 10 in our taste test, with its artificial flavor and overall weakness leaving a bad taste, quite literally. Its other options didn’t fare much better, to be honest, although its Caramel Apple Frappé worked way better than the rest. Don’t mess this new frozen peach flavor up, McDonald’s, we beg you.
