When building your “forever kitchen,” some dream cookware is a must. These are the pieces from brands you imagine in your cabinets long before ever actually owning them. They’re wishlist items that make you feel like celebrating when you finally have them at home, and you take them with you through every move. For me, that’s a Dutch oven from Le Creuset. I still don’t own one, but there’s good news: Le Creuset has early holiday deals that include its iconic Dutch ovens. Right now, you can get the Traditional Oval Dutch Oven for $150 off and the Signature Round Deep Oven for $170 off. You’ll also receive a free set of Vancouver pinch bowls with orders of $250 or more by using the code ADDAPINCH.
A Look at These Le Creuset Dutch Ovens
Le Creuset’s 6.5-quart Signature Round Deep Oven and 5-quart Traditional Oval Dutch Oven are both made from enamel-coated cast iron that comes in a variety of colors. The Signature Deep Oven comes in over 20 shades, six of which are currently sold out, and the Traditional Oval Dutch Oven is available in six of Le Creuset’s popular hues. Both ovens are ready-to-use upon arrival as the coated cast iron doesn’t require seasoning. They also come with lids that lock in moisture and prevent your food from drying out. They’re stain-resistant, crack-resistant, dishwasher-safe, compatible with all cooktops, and oven-safe up to 500°F.
Something to note is that the Signature Round Deep Oven has higher sides than the brand’s standard round Dutch oven. According to the brand, the taller edges help to contain food splatters and reduce boil-overs without overwhelming space on your stovetop. You can use it to cook whole chicken, soups and stews, pasta dishes, and more. For what it’s worth, my family has also used a Dutch oven as a big serving bowl for salads.
What Makes This Le Creuset Deal Worth It
Le Creuset is known to be a bit expensive, so if you have a chance to snag a bestselling piece on sale, don’t hesitate. Shoppers love the quality of these Dutch ovens and how they can be used for tons of recipes, so you don’t have to worry about buying one and only staring at it in your kitchen for months (even though they’re gorgeous in person).
“Finally decided to bite the bullet and get one while they are on sale. I’m so glad I did. It does not disappoint. I’ve made sourdough bread, pot roast, and chicken and noodles. They all were great. It cooks even and cleans up like a breeze. This is a pricey item but worth every penny.” — D Iven, Signature Round Deep Oven
“I just leave it out on my stove, and I use it almost every day. Unlike some, I appreciate the heat-resistant knob and wish I could get more items with this type knob or buy them as replacements. The oval design works very well on my middle gas burner which is oblong shaped.” — TennGirl, Traditional Oval Dutch Oven
