When you don’t know what to bring to a dinner party, it’s hard to go wrong with a charcuterie board. You can make it yourself, or take the easiest route and order one pre-made, like those from Boarderie, a family-run brand that specializes in catering-quality charcuterie and cheese boards. While most of Boarderie’s baked brie options are offered as single flavors, you get four-in-one (and then some) with the 2-Cheese Double Cream Baked Brie Board.

A Look at Boarderie’s 2-Cheese Double Cream Baked Brie Board
The 2-Cheese Double Cream Baked Brie Board includes baked brie flavor combinations from Boarderie that can only be found in the brand’s four-packs and large charcuterie and brie boards:
- Blueberry, Vanilla, and Thai Ginger: French brie, blueberry vanilla goat cheese, and sweet Thai ginger
- Chocolate, Espresso, and Raspberry: French brie, red berry milk cheese, espresso, dark chocolate, and raspberry
- Rosemary, Sun-Dried Tomato, and Olive: French brie, rosemary asiago cheese, sun-dried tomatoes, and mandarine chili olives
- Truffle, Fig, and Orange: French brie, truffle moliterno cheese, Turkish figs, and candied orange
The board, which serves 4-6 and ships for free, arrives frozen and is ready-to-bake upon delivery. If you won’t be baking it right away, keep it stored in the freezer. It comes with marmalade, bamboo utensils, and an acacia wood board that you can reuse for future entertaining. Each cheese is elegantly wrapped in puff pastry with a small decoration on top. The acacia board cannot go into the oven, but the cheese-filled pastries are neatly nestled in separate, oven-safe trays for baking.
My Experience with the 2-Cheese Double Cream Baked Brie Board
Before I tell you all about my time with Boarderie’s baked brie board, there’s something I have to admit: I did not bake these from frozen. It was a total accident that the cheeses were kept in the refrigerator for a day before I baked them, but this is just a word of caution so no one else makes the same mistake. Did it affect the look and taste of the baked brie? I don’t believe so. The puff pastry decorations were still intact (I loved the flowers!), and the flavors of each baked brie came through clearly. If anything, baking them from frozen might have kept the puff pastry from splitting as easily, but no cheese oozed out of the wooden container so it’s a win for me.
I baked the brie on 415°F for an initial 20 minutes, then watched the color of the puff pastry to decide when to remove them from the oven. Some baked faster than others, which was completely the oven’s fault, but once they started turning a beautiful golden brown, that’s when I’d take them out. I still think I could have left one or two in a little bit longer, but when I cut into them after the five-minute cooling period, the cheese was nicely melted and easily spreadable so it made a great snack for the household while I was cooking dinner.
Of the four flavors, the Rosemary Sun-Dried Tomato & Olive and the Truffle, Turkish Fig & Orange Blossom were the favorites in my home. However, I loved how different they all were overall because it didn’t result in a muddling of the flavor profiles. I think it would work well in groups with diverse tastes because it’s a little sweet and a little savory.
