There are not many absolute certainties in life, but if there’s one thing we know for sure it’s that time will continue to pass. And as each week passes us by, we here at Sporked like to take a little moment to reflect on the very best of what has come and gone in our lives. And since we are food writers, of course that all boils down to the best bites and flavors that the week presented us with.

As the purveyors of taste tests and the critics of food trends, we have a lot of strong opinions about the food we are eating. So when something truly impresses us, even if it’s a totally mundane food, I think it’s worth sharing with our dear readers in the hopes that the food in your life is of the highest quality too. Let’s dive into the three best things we eat this week, shall we?
Wicked Good Mini Chocolate Bars – Trader Joe’s
Our favorite bag of assorted candies this year for Halloween came from a bit of an unexpected place. We love Trader Joe’s for our groceries, but I can’t say it’s necessarily what we think of when we’re stocking our candy bowls for Halloween festivities. Starting now, though, we will never go back. The assorted mini chocolate bars basically represent a more satisfying and delicious version of all of our favorite candy bars like Three Musketeers, Snickers, Milky Way, and even Lion bars. We’re grabbing as many bags of these as possible before Trader Joe’s starts swapping out the Halloween treats Thanksgiving ones.
Salted Maple Cold Foam Creamer – Trader Joe’s
Alright, it’s gonna be a little bit of a Trader Joe’s heavy week here in our recommendations, but we’ve been trying to pack in as many of their fall goods into our week since we know their stock is about to get a complete seasonal overhaul. But before that happens, we wanted to make sure you all know how deep the love we have for the Salted Maple Cold Foam Creamer at Trader Joe’s is.
As a certified artificial maple hater, this is an absolutely superb store-bought cold foam since it has a real and natural maple taste to it. Plus, it has a distinct balance to it since it is salted to a certain degree. Overall, it adds an extra layer of dimension to your morning coffee and gives it a touch more seasonal flare. We waited all year for this flavor of their cold foam to come back, and we’re now once again troubled by the thought of it leaving.
LMNT Raspberry Salt Electrolytes
We are not at all the kind of food writers here a Sporked who are gonna hop on and tell you about all the latest health foods on the market. That said, a lot of people have integrated electrolytes into their diet, and we are no stranger to them either. And if you’re going to drinking electrolytes, then it might as well be ones that taste absolutely fantastic — especially when you’re consider the price tag.
Out of all of the electrolytes we’ve tried up until this point, the LMNT Raspberry Salt Electrolytes are the best ones. Not only is the raspberry flavor not artificial tasting, but it is salty to the point where it feels like it’s actually doing something. Not only that, but the salt content actually emphasized that it is a truly delicious flavor without just feeling like someone dumped an ocean-load of salt into your drink. Before tasting, I wouldn’t have expected that raspberry and salt would’ve been a better flavor combination than lime and salt, but then again we can always stand to be proven wrong.
