We talk a lot about 7-Eleven food here, but when we do, we’re usually discussing its hot food selection. This sort of makes sense, given that 7-Eleven invests heavily in this portion of its business, especially with the constant deals it offers on its hot food at 7-Eleven, Stripe, and Speedway stores (some of which are running this week, just FYI).

But today, we’re going to take a moment to talk about its snacks, and specifically, the new range of Hispanic-inspired options the convenience store chain just dropped. As part of the new focus on its food range that 2026 has brought, 7-Eleven is introducing Selección 7 – and there are a bunch of fresh items to discuss.

Selección 7

This week, 7-Eleven announced the launch of Selección 7, an expansion of its 7-Select private brand, with an assortment of Hispanic-inspired baked goods, snacks, and candies. “Every element of Selección 7 has been thoughtfully developed, from the product selection to the vibrant packaging, with the goal of building a product line that feels relevant to customers and communities we serve,” said 7-Eleven’s fresh food and beverages senior vice president, Brandon Brown, in its press release. 7-Eleven states that these new options are inspired by, and will showcase, authentic flavors and cultural influences that better reflect the tastes of some of its customers, while giving others an expanded selection of foods.

But let’s talk about what’s new. Its bakery section is getting a particular boost of new foods, with Vanilla and Chocolate Conchas, Mantecadas, and Pangué con Nueces. In its snack and candy sections, meanwhile, customers will now be able to find Chamoy Aroz Durazno, Chichurritos, and Cacahuates Estilo Japonés, among other options. 7-Eleven says that Selección 7 is a growing line, so we should expect more foods to appear in the future – although there’s no indication just yet of when that will happen.

Available Now (In Some Places)

7-Eleven’s Selección 7 items are now available at 7-Eleven, Stripe, and Speedway stores – but it’s worth bearing in mind that availability may be fairly limited. Not for its bakery items (those are rolling out nationwide), but its snacks and candy selection will only be stocked in select regions. 7-Eleven’s move here reflects a broader growth of more authentic and culturally relevant food options available to Hispanic communities in the United States: We recently discussed the Mexican cheese aisle finally getting an upgrade, and 2026 has very much felt like a year where food brands and companies have reflected on how to improve their offerings and up their game.
