7UP is back again with another exciting limited edition flavor: Endless Summer! Their most recent flavor, 7UP Shirley Temple, was a big hit with Sporked writer Tyler Bowers (in the full-sugar variety) and it looks like the brand’s newest invention may be just as compelling.
For starters, I love the name…that alone makes me want to buy a 12-pack, although maybe that’s just because it’s been raining a lot in L.A. (according to my sensitive California girl standards) and the promise of anything summer-y is really enticing. Anyway, Endless Summer is certainly a cute name that maybe suggests some fruitiness, but let’s get into what we can really expect.
What will 7UP Endless Summer taste like?
The new 7UP Endless Summer will feature strawberry and watermelon flavors, and will be available in full-sugar and zero-sugar varieties. Though 7UP has dabbled in strawberry flavored sodas with their Mixed Berry and Strawberry Lemonade varieties, this marks the first introduction of watermelon flavor into their lineup. I feel like the logical conclusion is that this new 7UP flavor will taste something like a watermelon Jolly Rancher, but we’ll have to wait a few more weeks to find out.
When and where will 7UP Endless Summer be released?
According to snack and soda specialistists, Markie Devo and Snack Betch on Instagram, the new 7UP Endless Summer will most likely be exclusive to Kroger-owned stores. And it is supposedly hitting shelves on April 7th. When it does appear on shelves near us, you can count on us to review it ASAP. Rain or shine. Unless it’s raining a lot. Seriously, we live in L.A. We cannot handle the rain.
