It’s a blending of international comfort foods that I can’t wait to try.

Popular Taiwanese dry noodle company A-Sha Foods has a history of doing very interesting and unexpected collaborations. And I should know, as I once spent a month reviewing all of their flavors, which included eating every single one of their Hello-Kitty-themed noodle packs. (Honestly, their Badtz-Maru sesame noodles were the best, and didn’t taste at all like penguin. Or at least, I hope not.)

For their latest collab, they’ve joined forces with Chef Andrew Zimmern, former host of the Travel Channel Show Bizarre Foods With Andrew Zimmern, for a new line of Target-exclusive noodle packs.

What’s in the A-Sha Zimm’s Line Of Noodles?

The Zimm’s line features three different product lines:

Zimm’s Cheesy Noodles

Themed around cheese-focused comfort foods, this line has three different air-dried noodle bowls:

  • Cheesy Truffle Noodles: Features a truffle mushroom cream sauce mixed with cheddar cheese and a crispy onion topping. It also features 12 grams of protein.
  • Vermont Cheddar Noodles: This one has a creamy cheddar cheese sauce topped with aromatic scallions. It has 14 grams of protein.
  • Spicy Cacio E Pepe Noodles: Themed after the Italian dish (the name literally means “cheese and pepper”), this one features a cheddar cheese sauce blended with tomato powder and tonkatsu-flavors, topped with a coarse black pepper topping. It also has 13 grams of protein.

Air-Dried Noodle Soup Bowls

These soup bowls are patterned after classic Japanese Ramen flavors, but they’re also “vegan friendly,” with no animal products listed on the ingredients.

  • Roasted Garlic Chicken Noodle Soup: This one’s got a rich, garlic-y chicken-flavored broth that has 10 grams of plant-based protein.
  • Spicy Pork Noodle Soup: Flavored with soy sauce, tonkatsu sauce and radish powder, this one has 11 grams of plant-based protein.
  • Miso Noodle Soup: This one has a “creamy miso broth” flavored with soy sauce, rice miso and sesame oil, along with 12 grams of plant-based protein.

Peanut Butter Chili Crisp

Described as a “PB&C,” this “sweet heat” peanut butter also contains A-Sha’s Chili Crisp Drizzle and salted chili peppers, giving it a unique mix of chili heat and crunch. And while they recommend it for PB&J sandwiches, I think I’m going to have to try using them as a sauce the next time I make Satay-style chicken skewers.

Where Can I Get Them?

They’re currently available at Target, or you can also order them directly from the A-Sha website. And if you order $69 dollars or more of the Zimm’s noodles from A-Sha, you’ll get a 10 percent discount and they’ll also throw in a few A-Sha chopstick set. Although, those chopsticks are limited to the first hundred customers, so who knows how long they’ll last.
