It is FINALLY September, y’all. The skies are 5 times grayer, the lattes are 10 times sweeter, and I am 20 times more likely to be wearing a sweater, whether it is actually cooler out or if, more realistically, it does like California always does and stays 100 degrees until October. Listen, I am willing to be very sweaty just for the vibes, and I am not the only one. Aldi has apparently been working up a sweat while we have been off gallivanting this summer (aka working like normal and wishing we were on vacation), because they have a whole fall lineup that they will be releasing more and more of every week this month. So let’s get into it and see what delectable new items Falldi has to offer (or at least the ones we are most excited about). Here are six Aldi finds we can’t wait to try.

Season’s Choice Hot Honey Carrots ($2.99; available now)

I know what you’re thinking: “Jess, these carrots have hot honey on them. Give me pumpkin spice carrots or apple pie carrots; hot honey is an all-year flavor, and I will not stand for this!” To which I would say, cool your jets, my guy. Then heat them up again (with hot honey), because I happen to think that that sticky-sweet sweet spicy glaze is perfect for the transition to early fall. Also, if you want even your carrots to be pumpkin-spiced, I think you and I need to have a chat about the deeper reason behind your rabid attachment to all things cozy and crisp.

L’Oven Brown Sugar Breakfast Bread and Fresh Iced Cinnamon Bread ($3.99; available now)

Was I even aware “Brown Sugar Breakfast Bread” was a thing before writing this article? No. Is my life materially changed for the better now that I know such a thing as “Brown Sugar Breakfast Bread” exists? Yes. Do I want a toasted and buttered, fluffy and crispy, sweet and savory piece of brown sugar breakfast bread right the heck now? You bet your brown sugar breakfast butt I do. Oh, and obviously fresh iced cinnamon bread doesn’t sound too bad either.

Southern Grove Fall Trail Mixes ($4.29; available Sept. 10)

Aldi is blessing us with three fall trail mixes, including a Pumpkin Spice trail mix with peanuts, cookies, yogurt-covered raisins, and pepitas, all powdered in delicious warm spices; a Caramel Apple Trail Mix with caramel apple-flavored candy cups, yogurt-covered Raisins, cinnamon cookies, and caramel apple almonds; and, lastly, a Halloween candy-inspired trail mix with Reese’s Pieces looking “Peanut Butter Gems,” Peanut Butter Chocolatey Coated Squares (they look like muddy buddies), peanut butter cups, peanuts, Peanut Butter Chips, and Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips. Basically, any of these would make excellent gifts…to me…if you were trying to be my friend and happened to live near an Aldi. Just sayin’…

Sundae Shoppe Pumpkin Ice Cream Sandwiches ($4.49; available Sept. 17)

These. Are. Adorable. These are like if they smushed pumpkin muffins into pancakes, shaped those pancakes like jack o’ lanterns, and then put ice cream between two of them. Or at least that is what they look like, and if they actually taste anywhere at all in that ballpark, then they sound like an absolute home run of a fall pumpkin spice dessert. It’s not every day we get a new vehicle/form factor with which to ingest our pumpkin spice, and yet here we are. It is indeed a glorious day. (But still keep that pumpkin spice off your carrots, you pumpkin spice maniac).

Priano Macaroni & Cheese or Pepperoni Pizza Raviolini ($6.19; available Sept. 10)

I know, I know, “This is just pasta, where the heck is the pumpkin spice?! Give us pumpkin spice pasta! Or apple pasta! Or caramel cinnamon swirl pasta with a maple brown sugar glaze and a pecan pie sweet potato on top!”

Hey y’all? CALM DOWN. You are not Elf from the eponymous 2003 feature film Elf. Your pasta can be savory. Yes, even in the fall. There is still plenty of pumpkin spice on this list. You’ll live—and, now that I included these ravs on our list, so will the one person reading this to find a fun, savory entrée coming to Aldi this month. Hi, one person, these raviolini—both the mac and cheese raviolini and the pepperoni raviolini (for if you are feelin’ spicy)—both look absolutely fire. I want to have pepperoni ravioli with crusty bread and burrata and fresh basil, sit on a balcony, and pretend I am in Italy, and that will always be true whether it is officially September or not.

Specially Selected Pumpkin Maple Bisque or Butternut Squash Soup ($3.89 Available Sept. 10)

As established, hot girl summer is over, and it is officially soup girl September, so we needed to include some good ol’ fall soups on this list. Aldi will have a Pumpkin Maple Soup as well as a classic Butternut Squash Soup, so whether you like your squash soups more on the sweet side or more on the swavory side, it looks like Aldi’s got ya covered. Personally, I am a squash soup fiend no matter the sweetness level, so I may just have to try both of these this year and see which squash soup squashes the competition into…well…soup. If you try these, let us know which of the two you like more!
