Are you ready to take a break from your classic hamburger or cheeseburger? Then it’s time to head to Arby’s. And no, we’re not saying that because right now is a particularly great time to snag some curly fries or try beef in a different form like Arby’s classic Roast Beef.

Rather, Arby’s is introducing something that’s quite a bit different from the usual beef staples. It’s bringing a regional classic to America, and it’s introducing the fresh spin on a classic sandwich nationwide. This time, though, the focus is all about chicken — specifically, the Chicken Cheesesteak.

Three New Spins on the Cheesesteak Are Arriving at Arby’s

Arby’s is no stranger to a cheesesteak. After all, the Angus Cheesesteak has been delivering thinly-shaved 100 percent Angus steak in sandwich form to guests for some time. But now, the cheesesteak is undergoing a change. And that’s because Arby’s is introducing three new menu additions, all of which are variations of the cheesesteak (and all starring chicken).

All three of these newcomers feature seared, seasoned chicken with plenty of flavor, intended to raise the bar on a typical cheesesteak thanks to a mouthwatering spice blend starring garlic, onion, and paprika. The meat is then sliced and cooked sou vide for an extra juicy final result.

But Arby’s isn’t merely introducing an average cheesesteak. Rather, the fast food chain is introducing three different variations, and each one features chicken as the star of the show. You’ll be able to order the following cheesesteak choices:

  • Chicken Cheesesteak: A sandwich featuring juicy seasoned chicken paired with melty American Cooper cheese and caramelized onions between a toasted sesame roll.
  • Chicken Deluxe Cheesesteak: A sandwich featuring the same seasoned chicken and American Cooper cheese plus crisp shredded lettuce and sliced tomatoes.
  • Spicy Chicken Cheesesteak: A sandwich featuring the same ingredients as the Chicken Cheesesteak plus a spicy glaze that adds a bit more heat.

So, while Arby’s might be best known for its roast beef sandwiches, beef is taking a back seat for now. Chicken Cheesesteak sandwiches are about to be the menu addition everyone is ordering.

When Can You Try Arby’s Cheesesteaks?

The new lineup of three different Chicken Cheesesteaks will be available at Arby’s starting October 12, 2026. So you won’t have to wait long — you can head to Arby’s n October 12 and place an order for any one of the three new additions (or all three, if you’re exceptionally hungry).

You can order any one of the three Arby’s Chicken Cheesesteaks in-restaurant, at the drive-thru, and online. You can also find the sandwiches available to order via the Arby’s app.

But you won’t want to wait. The Chicken Cheesesteak and its two sibling sandwiches won’t be sticking around forever, unlike the steak sandwich choices you’ll find on the menu. The Arby’s newcomers have only been promised at participating restaurant locations across the U.S. for a limited time. We don’t know exactly how long that’ll be, so you’d be smart to bite into one now while they’re available.
