Last month, I broke the news that AriZona was partnering with Hot Wheels on two new drinks. (I actually covered it on Instagram before AriZona had even started teasing it; in my defense, the can renders and exclusivity information were both on their website in plain view!) While my initial thought was, “oh great, another pair of overly-sweet juice cocktails,” I was thrilled to discover the drinks were actually fruity variants of AriZona’s existing Black & White Tea.

Despite my gun-jumping on the news, AriZona was nice enough to send over both retailer-exclusive Hot Wheels teas (plus the adorable AriZona Green Tea Miata Hot Wheels toy; you can enter now through the end of 2026 to win a real AriZona Green Tea Miata). Read on for my thoughts on these drinks and exactly where you can find them.

AriZona x Hot Wheels Watermelon Drift Black & White Tea Review

New Fruity Tea Blend!

Pros: This 7-Eleven exclusive Hot Wheels tea has a genuine watermelon taste, unlike any “watermelon candy” flavor you might expect in such toyetic packaging. While the total flavor experience isn’t exactly what I was hoping for, I still hope this formula sticks around long after the Hot Wheels partnership ends.

Cons: The strong watermelon flavor completely covers the tea, to the point that I wouldn’t guess it had any tea in a blind taste test. While I appreciate it’s less of a sugary-sweet bomb than the brand’s juice cocktails, I’d still like a tea-based drink to taste at least slightly like tea.

AriZona x Hot Wheels Rad Berry Black & White Tea Review
AriZona x Hot Wheels Rad Berry Black & White Tea

New Fruity Tea Blend!

Pros: This Walmart exclusive drink is what I was hoping for when I found out these were Hot Wheels teas rather than juice cocktails. The black and white tea blend delivers the earthy vibes I’m looking for, while the berry flavoring lightens and sweetens it without being totally saccharine.

Cons: My biggest complaint with this Hot Wheels tea? It’s too easy to drink. Despite being a big can, I absolutely demolished this like I was in a race.
