The pickle trend is still going strong in 2025, folks. While I can’t speak to the cultural necessity of dill pickle ramen (begone, devil), when it comes to the snack aisle, I hope the trend never dies. Most major snack brands have tried to capitalize on the pickle mania, but in our opinion, few have actually succeeded.

How we found the pickle flavored snacks

Despite the trend’s popularity, sourcing pickle flavored snacks can be tricky. Many are limited-edition, or come from smaller, regional brands that we can’t just pick up at the local dollar store. Our saving grace, believe it or not, is World Market. Along with a rockin’ ramen selection, World Market has all the niche viral snacks you could ever need—including the best pickle snacks on the market. That said, if you don’t want to be tempted to buy candles and expensive bohemian furniture, you can also find many of these at Walmart, Target, and Amazon.

What we looked for the in best pickle flavored snacks

Obviously, the best pickle flavored snacks should pay proper homage to the tangy, vinegary, delicious dill pickle. We want bold brininess, not just vague sourness. We looked for snacks that didn’t shy away from garlic or dill. Most importantly, the best pickle flavored snacks aren’t just a gimmick. You should crave them like you crave other popular snacks—because they’re genuinely yummy, not just a novelty. From puffcorn to pretzels to chips, we tried a wide range of pickle flavored snacks. These are the ones that truly dill-ivered. (That’s the only pickle pun I’ve got, I promise.)

Like Air Dill Pickle Puffcorn

Best Pickle Snacks!

Like Air Dill Pickle Puffcorn

Like Air is a brand of puffcorn snacks that snagged a deal on Shark Tank in 2023, and they’ve been popping off ever since. These have a fluffy, soft crunch and dissolve in your mouth in a light but extremely satisfying way. They leave behind a zippy, briny flavor that sort of tastes like they reduced a vat of pickle juice into seasoning powder. It’s not the boldest and best pickle snack of the bunch, but we still really liked it. (And it’s way better than any pickle-flavored popcorn we’ve tried, I’ll tell you that.)

Zapp’s Cajun Dill Gator-Tator New Orleans Kettle-Style Potato Chips

Best Pickle Snacks!

Zapp’s Cajun Dill Gator-Tator New Orleans Kettle-Style Potato Chips

I’m not sure Zapp’s has ever put out a bad chip flavor, so yeah, they pretty much nailed this. We love how salty and dill-forward the flavor is without being too vinegary or briny. Not that there’s anything wrong with that—just different strokes for different folks, you know? The only downside is that they can be hard to find and seem to float in and out of season. (Which is probably true for most of the snacks on this list, unfortunately.)

Dill Pickle Goldfish

Best Pickle Snacks!

Spicy Dill Pickle Goldfish

Before Dill Pickle Goldfish, I was a pickle trend skeptic. (Some would say hater, but I won’t claim that negative energy.) The issue is that I love pickles, like a lot, okay—you’re talking to someone who used to sip pickle brine for a dopamine hit before my frontal lobe fully developed. As much as I wanted to love pickle flavored snacks, none were living up to my expectations. And then it happened: Dill Pickle Goldfish. Who knew such a tiny fish could hold so much flavor? They’re smothered in a vinegary, garlicky, almost creamy flavor dust that sort of reminds me of ranch dressing. They’re punchy without being abrasive. I think this is one of the best Goldfish flavors ever made, which completely subverts the idea that the pickle flavor is merely a gimmick. You trailblazed with this one, Goldfish. Mad props.

Deep River New York Spicy Dill Pickle Kettle Potato Chips

Look, we loved Zapp’s pickle chips, but I’m pleased to introduce you to our favorite dill pickle potato chip currently on the market: Deep River Spicy Dill Pickle Kettle. This snack is a showstopper on all fronts. The kettle chip itself has that immaculate, roof-of-your-mouth-scraping crunch that won’t get mushy if you smush them in a sandwich. Most importantly, it has this addictive greasiness swathing the chips in a bold, dilly, salty flavor you just never get sick of. Ugh. I’m craving them just thinking about it.

Pop Daddy Dill Pickle Pretzel Sticks

Best of the Best

Pop Daddy Dill Pickle Pretzel Sticks

Oh, Pop Daddy. It was an honor and privilege to try your dill pickle pretzels, and just know, I will be returning to World Market to buy them again. Not only is the dill flavor perfect, the buttery pretzel stick itself is simply artisanal, with a thin, sturdy crunch that feels expertly crafted. We honestly could not believe how bold yet balanced these were. Put them out in a party bowl, and I’d wager they could turn even the most fervent skeptics into pickle people.
