To say that THC drinks are a big deal this year would be an understatement. 2026 has seen a huge influx of new entrants to this growing market, which shows no signs of stopping as more and more people seek out booze-free alternatives to canned cocktails and other alcoholic drinks. What is Kick Fizz’s Cherry Vanilla Evening Buzz?

Kick Fizz’s Cherry Vanilla-flavored Evening Buzz was the ultimate winner in the competition, which tested out a bunch of THC and CBD-infused drinks. The drink, which is a low-dose beverage that provides either two or five milligrams of THC and CBD in a 1:1 ratio, is designed to induce a gentle effect and for customers who want to feel the calming impact of their spritz, but who don’t want it to put an end to any productivity whatsoever. 

At the 2026 WSWA Wine & Spirits Tasting Competition (which is governed by The Tasting Alliance), Kick Fizz’s flavor scored a whopping 97 points, thereby earning it a Double Gold score. Elsewhere, the brand was recognized for its Day Drinking Lemonberry Ice flavor, which took home a Bronze medal at the awards.

THC? CBD? Why Not Both?

It should be pointed out that Kick Fizz Evening Buzz Cherry Vanilla won in the “Best CBD/THC” category; other drinks that stuck to just the one active ingredient were also awarded. Foundry Two Scoops Orange Dream Float THC Soda took home its own Double Gold medal and 97-point score, while the same brand was also given garlands for its Fruit Punch THC Soda, Strawberry Diesel Classic THC Soda, and Strawberry Fields THC Soda. BLNCD Naturals also nabbed a Silver medal at the awards for its BLNCD Naturals Cucumber Mojito THC Mocktail. We love a canned mocktail that actually does something, although for some, this may defeat the whole point of them in the first place.

Kick Fizz was the only brand that was recognized for drinks that contain both, though, and therefore is the only drink awarded that has the so-called “entourage effect,” where THC and CBD work together to reduce the unwanted effects of both while enhancing their respective positive impacts.
