Of the regional fast foods chains, it’s my personal belief that Bojangles is far and by the most underrated. I mean, the chicken is densely flavorful and you couldn’t ask for more from a fast food biscuit. Really, their biscuits put everyone else to shame―aside from my grandmother, of course.

And, perhaps the best thing coming out of Bojangles is their breakfast. Their all-day breakfast, as a matter of fact. Now, not only are they expanding their breakfast menu with Bo-ritos, but they are being particularly innovative with the flavors and formats of their breakfast items. There’s truly no one doing it like Bo’, so let’s get into their newest launch.
A New Biscuit Sandwich
I don’t know about you folks, but personally, I’ve never really thought of ranch when it comes to breakfast foods. But since Bojangles really invites you to enjoy their meals all day long, it’s not a surprise that they’re mixing together condiments from other meal times. The first item being added to their menu is the Cajun Bacon Ranch Biscuit that combines Bojangles staples with new flavors.
The biscuit sandwich takes one of their iconic Cajun filets made with all white meat chicken breast marinated in the quintessential Bojangles seasonings and layers it with American cheese, Applewood-smoked bacon, and house-made ranch. Of course, as Bojangles must, it’s served sandwiched into a made-from-scratch buttermilk biscuit.
And Another New Sandwich
Adding ranch to something is a fun twist for sure, but that’s only a mild mixup compared to the second item in this launch. For anyone who is unfamiliar, the Bo-Rounds are basically the beloved and famous Bojangles version of a hash brown. But, usually they’re in one-to-two bite sized pieces. Bojangles decided it was time to up the ante with its Bo-Rounds and create extra large Bo-Tato Rounds to use as the bun for their newest sandwich.
The Carolina Crunch sandwiches, Applewood-smoked bacon, fluffy eggs, and American cheese are layered between the two Bo-Tato Rounds. And the Bo-Tato Rounds are, of course, seasoned with the Bo’s Famous Seasoning that makes the classic version of these breakfast snacks so satisfying. Of this new creation, Vice President of Menu and Culinary Innovation at Bojangles Marshall Scarborough said, “Our Bo-Rounds are the No.1 fixin’ ordered at breakfast, so creating the Carolina Crunch was a natural fit. It gives our fans even more of what they already love, combining our signature Bo-Rounds with the flavors that make Bojangles’ breakfast special.”
Notably, the Bojangles press release regarding these two new menu items emphasized that these sandwiches are only going to be available whilst supplies last. So, if either of these new creations sound like a little bit of you, then you better act fast.
