It’s time to put on your best powdered wig and hitch up those stockings, folks: Bridgerton is back. Everyone’s favorite costume drama is set to drop the first part of its fourth season on January 29 (in typical Netflix fashion, the second part follows a month later), and we’re already thinking about the bites we’re going to be snacking on while we binge all the episodes.
So is General Mills, apparently. The food company has just announced that it’s bringing back its Betty Crocker Bridgerton baking, which it first released back in 2025 to coincide with the previous adventures of all of those Regency folk. This year, though, they’re also debuting a brand new Pillsbury item, which is more than fit for the ball. Here’s the scoop on your new favorite tretas.
Scone, Créme Puff, and Sponge Cake Kits Will Soon Be the Talk of the Ton
The three returning Betty Crocker baking kits are a nice twist on the brand’s regular line, and will make your watch parties just a little more special. Its Betty Crocker Petite Strawberry Scone Kit kicks things off, and comes packed with a fruit-flavored scone mix, a pack of strawberry jam, and round cookie cutters. All you’ll need to do is provide the cream (whether you put it on top of the jam or below it is up to you—just prepare to be judged either way).
Next up, the Betty Crocker Créme Puff Kit delivers a delicate touch, with each box packed with everything you need to produce this light bake. Every kit comes with a créme puff and pink whipped filling mix, as well as piping bags and some parchment paper.
Finally, its Petite Sponge Cake Mix is a good choice for a crowd, with an airy sponge sandwiching layers of cream and jam.
New Pillsbury Ready-to-Bake Scones Join the Line-Up
Want to try something new? Pillsbury’s new item should do the trick. Its new entry into the Bridgerton line is its Petite Blueberry Scone with Lemon Icing. In a statement provided to Parade, General Mills stated that this product was “a refined yet approachable take on classic British tea-time fare,” and it consists of a blueberry-studded dough that you bake yourself at home, before slathering it with a lemony topping.
General Mills’ Bridgerton Bakes Are Available Now
If you’re feeling the need to get ahead of the game with your snack-planning for your watching sessions, then you’re in luck: These baking kits should be available imminently in major retailers, provided that your supermarket’s stocking them. Want to fill your boots with other faux-historical-drama-inspired products? Grab the new Jeni’s Bridgerton ice cream and some of the McCormick Bridgerton finishing sugars (both of which would go pretty well with any of these bakes, to be honest). We wouldn’t be surprised if other food companies follow suit imminently or hastily drop some products between the first and second batch of episodes. Hey, there’s good money in a product tie-in!
