Burger King’s Giving Away Free Sandwiches — And A Free Spotify Membership

National Hamburger Day is just around the corner. Oh, did you forget? Well, we didn’t: May 28 is always marked firmly in our calendars, mainly because it’s usually a day that burger restaurants like to run deals on. This year is no different. A few weeks back, when discussing the best fast food deals in May (which there are still a few to take advantage of, folks!), we talked about how we were awaiting news from burger chains on their National Hamburger Day offers this year – and now Burger King has provided, with a free sandwich giveaway that we won’t be saying no to.

Burger King’s free sandwich offer runs on May 28 only, and is only available to Royal Perks members – but given that it’s free to sign up to the loyalty scheme, it’s not a big barrier to entry. If you spend $3 or more at any participating restaurant on National Hamburger Day, you can redeem a free hamburger offer through the app or on its website.

Free Music Streaming Service!

…its free Spotify Premium offer. Burger King has just announced a new collaboration with Spotify, and as part of it, Royal Perks customers who spend $10 or more can access up to four months of Spotify Premium at no extra cost. 

Now, that might sound a bit vague, but Burger King’s website has a bit more information on this deal. If you’re not a Spotify Premium user, you can get four months for free; if you’re a former user whose access ended at least 30 days ago, and you haven’t used another offer in the last two years, you’ll get two months for free. If you’re a current Spotify user, then I’m afraid you’re ineligible for this deal. Bear in mind, too, that if you opt for this offer, then you’ll enter into a rolling subscription when it expires, which costs $12.99 a month. You’ll have to use the promo code received from your qualifying purchase by June 13. 

Burger King’s collaboration with Spotify and its push towards app-based deals and offers feels very of the moment, with other fast food chains driving traffic through their apps in unexpected ways. Last week, we discussed Wendy’s new free merch drops, which are available through its online platforms only — and which have caused quite a stir. We live in a digital age, folks.
