It seems like every time we as a society have a bad year, we start prepping for the holidays earlier. Case in point: Cheez-It just announced they’re debuting an all-new holiday-house kit in (checks calendar) August. But they did get me. I almost preordered the kit (before I remembered I’m an adult woman and not eight years old). The fact that it is $99.46 for a box of six houses was also a deterrent.
What does the Cheez-It Holiday House Kit include?
The kit includes Cheez-It crackers, cheese-flavored pre-baked “cookies,” pre-made icing, and candy. Sounds like the perfect low effort kids activity. I may pull this out to score cool auntie points this holiday season.
What will a Cheez-It Holiday House taste like?
The only part of this whole idea that gives me pause is the prospect of putting this in my mouth. Not just because eating pretty things feels wrong, but because gingerbread houses, the obvious inspo, taste terrible (in my experience). And I don’t know if a cheese flavored version is going to be much better. But who knows? The combination of cheese-flavored cookies, with Cheez-It crackers, candy, and icing could taste great! Don’t look at me like that, odder things have happened!
When and where can you grab these Cheez-It Holiday House Kits?
We don’t know when these are set to drop, exactly, rumors say “soon,” so keep your eyes peeled. These kits will be available at all your major retailers and are already available for pre-order on Cookies United, though they won’t be shipped until November.
