Chili’s purists will argue that there’s no way to dupe the Chili’s experience. And that’s true, to an extent. Crushing six margaritas while finishing a Triple Dipper by myself may not have the same impact in the comfort of my own home. But thanks to Costco, I can now recreate a little bit of that chain-restaurant magic with the tools at my disposal.

The tools are actually just my air fryer and a box of 1st Course Southwest Rolls…
Well when I put it that way it does dull the magic a smidge. I just wanted to be truthful! A Redditor recently found this box of “Southwest Rolls” from 1st Course Gourmet Foods at their local Costco and gave them a try. They seem like they’re intended to duplicate the taste of Chili’s Southwestern Eggrolls, one of the options for the iconic Triple Dipper, and the Redditor says they get pretty dang close.
How accurate a Southwestern Eggroll dupe are we talking about, though?
No grocery store product can really nail the taste and texture of an snack that was deep fried in a restaurant, but they did pretty well with this one. These crispy flour tortillas packed with chicken, corn, black beans, and bold Southwester-style spices are just a smidge smaller than the originals, according to Reddit. Not a bad deal considering Chili’s doesn’t have a $1.50 hot dog combo on their menu. One point for Costco!
