A couple weeks ago, I reported on a new fan-favorite Chobani creamer coming back, and now I feel the need to apologize. I’m sorry, Chobani. I was unfamiliar with your game. And your fan base. Because y’all really geeked for this returning Cookies & Cream Creamer—I was not anticipating the fervor. (I kind of expected it to be a dud, to be honest.)

Well, I finally got my hands on it to try for myself. I wish I could tell you that I had this the first time around, when it was on shelves for a limited time back in 2023. Alas not. While I won’t be able to compare the two and tell you if they taste the same, I can give you my honest opinion about this iteration. (And whether it’s as good as Chobani’s new S’mores creamer, which I simply adored.) Let’s get into it.

Pros: Yep. I get it. The hype is very, very deserved. Obviously, this is supposed to taste like an Oreo creamer, and it definitely does… but. With ingredients like cream, Dutch chocolate, and sea salt, there isn’t anything synthetic or chalky about it. So I’m going out on a limb to say this tastes even better than an Oreo. The hint of sea salt in the mix takes this to a completely new level. It’s deeply rich, sweet, and cozy, but still balanced.
Cons: This is not a con to me, but I’m going to note here because I find it funny. This creamer smells like buttered movie theater popcorn (and chocolate). I’m pretty sure it’s the salt, and the aroma is actually very enticing to me, but I was a little thrown.
Verdict: Don’t put a gun to my head and ask me to choose between this creamer and Chobani’s S’mores creamer. I’ll die. (In other words: Everyone go try this immediately.)
