Who’s the real fool this April Fools’ Day? It’s me!!! I literally just posted about three April Fools’ Day stunts that ended up being real, and then Oreo, less than an hour later, dropped this on us: dill pickle Oreos! DILL. PICKLE. OREOS.

And yes. They’re real. So if you’ve been shoving pickle chips into your Oreo sandwich cookies and posting pics to social media, just know that all your hard work has paid off. Oreo sees you. You’ve inspired them. Take the win.
You can order Dill Pickle Flavored Fudge Coated Oreos to be shipped to you today—ONLY today, though.
I went through the entire process of ordering a $10 pack of them from the Oreo’s website just to confirm the page would take my credit card. They did. These are legit, you guys.
The inside is the same classic Oreo creme center we all know and love. But the outside is an electric green fudge coating that tastes, allegedly, like pickles. Okay. Sure. My brain is having a really hard time imagining it, but I guess that’s exactly what a good April Fools’ product should do: make me question reality.
Not that it really matters, but is there a possibility that these will taste kinda good?
Our Sporked taste-testing team has liked plenty of dill pickle-flavored snacks in the past. You won’t find anything sweet on that list, though. Apparently, chocolate-covered pickles (chickles?) do exist in Texas, and people have mixed feelings about them, starting with the appearance. I mean, I don’t think you need to click the link to imagine what they look like. Just think of a pickle-shaped object, but brown. Got it? Good.
But to answer my own question, no, I don’t think they will taste remotely yummy. I refuse to be delusional. They will be gross at worst and confusing at best. But feel free to disagree with me in the comments!
