Dove Is Launching Chocolate-Covered Pretzels For The First Time

Chocolate and pretzels have been together for a long time. It’s not exactly a groundbreaking combination. Take a pretzel, cover it in chocolate, and suddenly I’ve eaten half the bag while standing in the kitchen.

Dove has somehow avoided getting involved until now.

The chocolate brand is launching Dove Chocolate Enrobed Pretzels in two varieties: Milk Chocolate and Dark Chocolate. They’re eventually coming to convenience stores, but there’s a catch. The wider rollout doesn’t start until 2027.

If that is simply too long for you to wait for a Dove-covered pretzel, you can skip the line. It’ll just cost you $119.

Dove’s New Pretzels Come In Milk And Dark Chocolate

There aren’t too many surprises when it comes to what’s inside the bag. The Milk Chocolate Enrobed Pretzels are crunchy pretzels covered in Dove milk chocolate, while the Dark Chocolate Enrobed Pretzels swap in dark chocolate.

I’m glad nobody got carried away here. We don’t need birthday cake pretzels stuffed with caramel and dusted with popping candy. Chocolate. Pretzel. Perfect. Done.

Both varieties are expected to start rolling out at participating convenience stores in 2027, with additional distribution to follow. Dove hasn’t announced exactly which retailers will carry them yet or how much an individual bag will cost.

There isn’t a more specific launch date yet, either. But there is a way to get your hands on them earlier, provided you’re willing to commit pretty heavily to a snack you haven’t tried.

You Can Preorder 16 Bags For $119

The new pretzels are launching alongside Snack Iconic’s First Crunch Club, an early-access program for upcoming snack releases.

Its first Premiere Package costs $119 and comes with eight 2.5-ounce bags of the Milk Chocolate pretzels and eight bags of the Dark Chocolate pretzels. Sixteen bags. You’re not simply trying the new Dove pretzels at that point. You’re entering into a committed relationship with them.

The package also comes with two Dove chocolate bars, two limited-edition airtight collectible tins, premium gift packaging, and free shipping. Preordering also makes you a First Crunch Club Founding Member, which gets you early access to future Snack Iconic product drops.

And Dove is only the beginning. Snack Iconic says future First Crunch Club drops will include limited-edition snack collections, collectible packaging, and early access to select new products from other major brands. It hasn’t revealed what any of those future snacks will be yet.

The tins even have QR codes linking to future releases and product reorders, presumably for anyone who gets through 16 bags of pretzels and immediately thinks, “Again.”

Preorders are open now, with packages expected to ship in January 2027.

Everyone else can wait for the regular retail rollout later next year. And look, I love chocolate-covered pretzels. But I think I can survive until they hit the convenience store. Ask me again in December.
