McDonald’s has had a lot of things on its menu over the decades. Sure, you’ve got your Big Macs and your chicken nuggets (which McDonald’s didn’t invent, as it happens), but it feels like every few months it’s trying out some wild and wacky new concoction in an attempt to get customers under those Golden Arches and eating its food. Unfortunately, McDonald’s is pretty cut-throat about axing these menu items when they don’t work out, and as soon as they appear in its restaurants, they’re gone again, tossed on the scrapheap of fast food history.

Are they, though? It might come as a surprise, but some of these strange discontinued McDonald’s foods are still available… If you’re willing to take a trip down Florida way, that is. There’s a McDonald’s in Orlando that fully embraces the chain’s history.

Epic McD’s Is the Largest McDonald’s in the Country

The Orlando McDonald’s is officially known as the “World’s Largest Entertainment McDonald’s and Playplace,” but goes by Epic McD’s for short. It’s certainly true to its name: At 19,000 square feet across multiple floors, it’s easy to get lost in this place.

We hope you don’t, though, because if you do, you’ll miss out on all the fabulous food it has to offer. Sure, it sells the burgers and fries that you know and love from the chain, but it also churns out McPizza, a McDonald’s menu item that was around in the 1980s and 90s, before it was discontinued.

The Epic McD’s also serves various types of customizable pasta, sandwiches, omelets, and unexpected desserts like Belgian waffles. Oh, and everything’s served on porcelain plates, instead of the cardboard and paper that McDonald’s food usually comes wrapped in. So… Anyone want to take a trip with us?

This McDonald’s Is Part Restaurant, Part Amusement Park

So, you’ve eaten everything that Epic McD’s has to offer, and thrown it back to the days of yore. What’s next? Well, this McDonald’s is the kind of place you can spend the whole day in. It’s got a literal arcade inside it, with dozens upon dozens of machines. You can also take a peek at the very retro Mac Tonight animatronic, which dangles above customers and serenades them from on high.

This McDonald’s stretches over three floors, too, so you’ll likely not get bored any time soon. There are plenty of nooks and crannies to explore, and new gems to find. Sure, you could stay at home, make your own Big Mac dupe, and miss out on all the fun, or you could hop in your car and head to the coolest Mickey D’s in the land. We know what we’d prefer.
