Will You Flip for the New Flipz State Fair-Inspired Pretzels?

I am a Flipz freak. Their chocolate covered pretzels are our favorite chocolate covered pretzels out there. I could literally munch on the salty/sweet combination all day long. If I’m at an airport, having a movie night, or on a road trip, I’m grabbing a bag of Flipz as my snack.

Because of this, I was excited and scared in equal measure to try the new Flips State Fair-inspired covered pretzels, which come in Strawberry Shortcake and Churro flavor. Will they be able to live up to the perfection that are their milk chocolate and white fudge covered pretzels? I was hopeful, but let’s find out the truth!

Flipz State Fair Strawberry Shortcake Flavored Covered Pretzels

If you’re a strawberry lover, you’ll love these Flipz State Fair Strawberry Shortcake Covered Pretzels. They are perfectly strawberry-y. They aren’t too sweet or artificial tasting. As always, the coating is creamy and the pretzel is crunchy. They’re perfectly salted. If you’re really trying to go full state fair, I’d crumble these up and sprinkle them over actual strawberry shortcake. How tasty would that be?! These are the winner of this line of covered pretzels.

Flipz State Fair Churros Flavored Covered Pretzels

Don’t get me wrong: These are good. They’re just not giving as much as the strawberry shortcake variety. Flipz Churros have a flavor that is extremely mild. I didn’t really get churro at all. They lack strong cinnamon sugar flavor and, instead, just taste like a mild, generic covered pretzel. They still hit all the marks of Flipz deliciousness, though! They’re crunchy, creamy, and a little salty. I think these could be better, but I still think they taste good and would easily eat a bunch of them if they were in a bowl on the table at a party.
