Aldi has everything you need for a weekly grocery run. But if you’ve never shopped for an occasion as special as Thanksgiving, you might be surprised to learn that you can find everything you need right on the shelves of this low-priced grocery store.

This year, you can pick up everything you need for your entire Thanksgiving dinner at Aldi and without splurging — yes, even if you’re hosting a crowd. Aldi’s famously low prices are holding steady for all of the staples, from turkey to side dishes to dessert. And I’ve got your guide to picking up the entire meal for less.
Buy a Complete Thanksgiving Meal in One Click
First things first: If you don’t want to stress over your Thanksgiving dinner, Aldi does offer a convenient, super budget-friendly option, and that’s buying your entire meal with one click.
You’ll still have to do the cooking (sorry to anyone who was hoping the meal came ready to heat and serve), but Aldi’s complete Thanksgiving meal takes the shopping and budgeting out of the equation for you.
Priced at $39, this meal is designed to serve up to 10 people — so you can serve a classic holiday meal for under $4 per person. It includes all of the items you need, and you can add them to your cart online with a single click. You’ll get:
- A 16-pound whole turkey
- 3 boxes of stuffing mix
- Baby peeled carrots
- Celery
- Cranberries
- Sweet potatoes
- Hawaiian sweet rolls
- Frozen peas
- Pumpkin pie mix
- Pie crusts
- Milk
- Heavy whipping cream
Prefer to shop yourself or want a different mix of dishes on your Thanksgiving table? Here’s how to buy your meal’s individual components at Aldi and still save.
Large Turkeys Ring in at Affordable Prices
You don’t have to settle for a small turkey to save, because Aldi actually offers two large turkey options: You can opt for a private label bird or the classic name-brand Butterball.
Farmer’s Choice brined turkeys are just $0.99 per pound at Aldi, making them a steal at any size. No matter how many people you’re feeding, that means you can lock in a turkey for around $20 or less, if you opt to go small.
And if you prefer Butterball, you can also pick up a whole bird (approximately 18 pounds) for $1.27 per pound.
Stuffing Costs Less Than $1
Stuffing (or dressing, if you’re getting technical) is an essential, and Aldi has exactly the right product to help you cut back on time, effort, and money spent. Instead of whipping up your stuffing from scratch and many, many ingredients this year, you can cut out all the measuring, chopping, and individual ingredient shopping with a box of Chef’s Cupboard Chicken Stuffing Mix from Aldi.
Priced at just $0.78, you’ll frankly want to pick up a couple boxes of the stuff. Name-brand stuffing mixes do tend to be pretty affordable (often $2 or less per box), but Aldi’s under-$1 box is excellent in flavor and quality. In fact, I tend to stock up every year and use the stuffing mix for other recipes all winter long.
Prefer cornbread stuffing? Aldi has you covered there, too, with a cornbread version of this very same — and very cheap — stuffing mix. And if you’d like, you can give either version a boost with fresh additions like celery or dried cranberries.
Key Side Dish Ingredients Are Also Cheap
If you want to fill your table with sides like sweet potatoes (in any form), your go-to green bean casserole, mashed potatoes, or veggies like squash, carrots, and other autumnal favorites, you can find all of the ingredients you need at Aldi. And most are under $2.50 — and that price is for more than a single onion or butternut squash.
For example, you can pick up 3 pounds of sweet potatoes for just $1.95, giving you exactly what you need for your family-favorite casserole. Fresh cranberries, if you’re a sauce-from-scratch kind of home cook, are just $0.95. Onions, a staple for so many Thanksgiving dishes, are priced at $2.39 for a 3-pound bag.
Of course, fresh produce can be more expensive than canned and frozen counterparts. Aldi has you covered with Thanksgiving staples there, too. Canned corn and canned green beans, for example, are just $0.50 per can. You can even pick up peeled and cubed sweet potatoes in Aldi’s frozen foods section for just $2.49 for 10 ounces (a perk that’ll save you some prep time!).
Key Pie Ingredients Ring in Under $10
Lastly, Aldi isn’t going to let you forget about dessert, and I personally love how cheap the store’s pie ingredients are year-round. Flour, sugar, and baking powder or soda — plus usually pricey staple seasonings like vanilla — are always affordable here when you opt for one of the private label picks. 4 pounds of granulated sugar runs just $2.79, and vanilla is just $3.49.
Pie crusts, an absolute holiday must-have, are cheap, too. You can pick up a pack of two crusts for just $1.89. And don’t forget about filling, either. Aldi’s own Baker’s Corner Pumpkin Pie Mix is just $1.99 per can, making it a breeze to get a pie in the oven in no time and on a budget.
Even whipping cream is a smart buy at Aldi. Grab a box of heavy whipping cream to use all season long for just $4.35 (and you’ll have 32 ounces total).
