IKEA Just Launched An XBOX Meal Deal With A Halo Collectible Cup

IKEA and Halo might seem like an unlikely duo, but the two are teaming up. That’s right: Xbox and IKEA just joined forces in two ways. And while there is some furniture involved in this collaboration, we’re more excited about the Xbox-themed meal deal you can find at IKEA’s Swedish Bistro right now.

Stop by IKEA and Grab a Great Meal Deal

Head to your local IKEA, and you’re going to find a deal that’s great for gamers — no, it’s not those iconic Swedish meatballs, but it is on something just as good. For a limited time, the famed furniture retailer is offering a complete meal deal that won’t even cost you $20.

The IKEA Swedish Bistro is offering a limited-edition YXSTABY Bistro Box, which includes two hot dogs (or veggie dogs, if you prefer), plus a bag of potato chips, a cinnamon bin, a bag of candy, and a refillable fountain drink in a souvenir cup.

The meal deal is priced at $11.99, but if you’re an IKEA Family member, you’ll pay just $10.

The YXSTABY Bistro Box is part of an effort to celebrate IKEA’s new YXSTABY collection, which is inspired by a small locality in Sweden and includes nods to Xbox (after all, the name includes the four letter buttons on any Xbox controller: X, Y, B, and A). The nine-item collection is specifically designed for at-home gaming, with pieces that are designed to connect gaming with everyday life.

So, it should come as no surprise that the YXSTABY Bistro Box meal deal doesn’t just include any cup — it’s a collectible one themed after Halo, Xbox’s most popular game franchise.

The XBOX Meal Deal Isn’t the Only Way IKEA is Celebrating

The IKEA Meal Deal offered via the YXSTABY Bistro Box isn’t the only exciting thing happening at your local IKEA store right now. In fact, there’s an entire celebration going on, all thanks to the launch of the YXSTABY collection.

Stop by a store that’s hosting a YXSTABY event, and you’ll be able to snag one of the $10 Bistro Boxes and take part in other fun like gaming trivia (and prizes for winners), a scavenger hunt throughout the IKEA showroom in search of a Spartan supersoldier from Halo, and a whole host of giveaways exclusively for members of IKEA Family, such as a limited-edition IKEA x Xbox tote bags and collectible bag charms.

The YXSTABY event is only sticking around for a limited time, so you don’t want to miss your opportunity to grab an IKEA meal for less. And if you become an IKEA Family member before stopping by the store, you can even save $2 for an extra great deal.
