A Margaritos Variety Pack
That’s right. Margaritos. A mashup of both Hornitos and Jarritos and margarita. An easy name for an easy solution to a common problem. I personally have no loyalty to any tequila brand out there. I just splash any ol’ bottle off the shelf (usually whatever’s cheapest, sorry!) and call it a day. Knowing that Jarritos themselves have a preference for which tequila makes its way into their bottles changes the game entirely.
It’s nice knowing what preference a creator has for their product. That’s not the only thing that led to this collaboration. Hornitos Tequila and Jarritos are also teaming up to celebrate both of the companies’ 75th anniversaries. That’s right. Somehow, both brands were founded in Mexico in 1950. The coincidence alone is enough to lead the charge on this innovation.
Inside the limited-edition packs you’ll find award-winning Hornitos Reposado alongside three fan-favorite Jarritos flavors: mandarin, lime, and pineapple (our sixth, fifth, and third favorite flavors respectively). That sets you up for an easy drink that you can make a few different ways.
Our Guide To Drinking A Margarito
If you want to make things super simple for yourself, you can absolutely get away with just pouring your Jarritos of choice into a glass and mixing it with a shot or two of Hornitos tequila. Personally, I am lazy by nature so this is 1000% percent the route I’ll be taking. As long as I’m not trying to impress anyone after a night out. Based on my track record, that won’t be happening anytime soon.
If you’re feeling a little fancier, you can choose to shake together two parts Hornitos tequila, one part fresh lime juice, and one half of agave syrup with added ice in the shaker. Strain that into a glass and fill in the rest of the space with your favorite flavor of Jarritos soda. Top with a lime wedge and sip away for a spiritual experience.
The collaboration highlights the brands’ shared heritage and is inspired by decades of bringing people together over food, drinks, and community. You can now find the variety pack for a suggested retail price of $24.99 at participating retailers.
