People of a certain age, and of a certain nostalgic inclination, will remember the sheer joy of JELL-O’s Jiggler Easter Egg Molds. Way back in the early 2000s (which was a long time ago, we hate to tell you – yes, it scares us too), these molds made making your favorite Jell-O flavors just that bit more fun: Shaped like an egg carton, they produced Easter-ready wobbly treats that felt ever-so-slightly like those weird alien egg toys, but tasted much better.

Well, JELL-O’s clearly realized that digging into the past sells, because now, they’re back, for the first time in a quarter of a decade. This year, Jiggler Easter Egg Molds are being sold in Walmart and Walmart alone, and you have a couple of weeks to get your hands on ‘em.
Don’t Mistake Them for Your Actual Eggs…
JELL-O has re-released its Jiggler Easter Egg Molds in response to hot customer demand. “Fans scour resale sites like Ebay, Poshmark and Etsy, swap original recipes, and search for ways to recreate the colorful, jiggly eggs they remember from childhood, proving that this beloved tradition still holds a special place in family celebrations,” it told us in an email. According to the brand, these darling little molds will “reinvigorate the nostalgic ritual so many love at Easter time, designed with parents in mind who want to keep traditions alive while simplifying the chaos.”
Now, we may have to push back slightly on the lack of chaos – anyone who’s ever let a kid pour JELL-O into a mold themselves will know how it can go wrong instantly – but we get what it’s saying. We also appreciate that opting for these molds over buying a bunch of Easter eggs and newfangled chocolate baskets will likely keep the cost down a little, a fact that JELL-O alluded to when it got in touch.
Yeah, About That Cost: How Much Are These Molds?
Great question. JELL-O’s Jiggler Easter Egg Molds will retail at $5.99 at Walmart, and as @snackolator says, if you spend more than $35 online, you can grab them with free shipping. Leaves just enough money to get yourself some of Ghirardelli’s new fancy cookie bunnies while you’re at it. The JELL-O Molds will only be available while stocks last, though, so don’t wait too long to get them.
