Ever wanted a flatscreen TV’s worth of Kraft Mac & Cheese? Yes? Well, ya weirdo, you can now get exactly that for less than $20 from Walmart. Let’s break that down.

What exactly is this deal?

Starting at midnight on Black Friday (November 28th) you’ll be able to get 65 boxes of classic Kraft Mac & Cheese (we’re talking about the blue box, which is some of the best boxed mac and cheese) all packed into a 65-inch TV box. Sold exclusively at Walmart for $19.37 (a nod to the year Kraft was founded), the deal saves you $40. So, kitsch factor aside, this is actually a pretty good score.

Why is this happening?

This publicity stunt/genuinely good deal is the kickoff for Kraft’s Best Thing Ever campaign, which celebrates Kraft’s 90 years of Krafting. Here’s a fairly inscrutable explanation from the press release: “ We wanted to lean into our cultural status and create a platform that not only reinforces our brand promise of deliciousness, ease, and affordability, but also makes our fans feel seen, ” said Cheryl Barbee, Communications Director, Kraft Mac & Cheese at The Kraft Heinz Company. “The inaugural creative is just the beginning of Best Thing Ever, and we’re excited to share how we will deliver on this platform in new ways in 2026 and beyond.”

In short: They have a new ad campaign. And John Mulaney is doing the voiceover.

What else do you get with the big box of mac & cheese?

That’s about it! But what else do you need? The box itself is styled like it contains an actual television. It boasts “4k Noodles.” And the Walmart listing goes even further, saying that it has a “built-in voice assistant” with the disclaimer that it won’t actually respond. It’s all very cute. But mostly, the important thing to know is that you can get 65 boxes of Kraft Mac & Cheese for under $20 this Black Friday. So stock up.

Hi! I’m the editor-in-chief of Sporked. I will never turn down a fresh-shucked oyster but I’ll also leap at whatever new product Reese’s releases and I love a Tostitos Hint of Lime, even if there is no actual lime in the ingredients. Why you should trust me: I have been writing about food and beverages for well over a decade and am an avid at-home cook and snacker. I began my career writing about fine dining and recipes, moved into cocktails and spirits, and now I talk about groceries. If you can eat it or drink it, I’ve probably written about it. What I buy every week: Trader Joe’s dried okra. Appleton Farms prosciutto from Aldi. Some sort of Trader Joe’s cheese (I’m into the aged gouda at the moment). Frozen waffles (usually the Eggo Cinnamon Toast Minis). Spindrift water (loving the Cosmopolitan right now). Favorite ranking: Smoked salmon. Imagine me as Scrooge McDuck but instead of coins I’m diving into a vault of slippery smoked salmon slices. Pure joy. I also found some real steals in that taste test! Least favorite ranking: Canned oysters. I had such high hopes for this but it quickly became a chore. The kitchen smelled like an uncleaned aquarium.
