Krispy Kreme’s Spring Seasonal Collection Includes an All-New Hershey’s Doughnut

I’m a self-proclaimed doughnut enthusiast — there’s nothing better than biting into the fluffy, pillowy goodness and if you disagree, I simply don’t trust your judgment on snacks. Over the winter season, I devoured several caramel dulce doughnuts from Krispy Kreme, and last week even I got my hands on the space-themed doughnut, but now there’s new Krispy Kreme flavors to enjoy in spring. Enter: Krispy Kreme’s Spring Seasonal Collection.

What’s on Krispy Kreme’s new spring menu?

Starting tomorrow (April 7), you’ll find two new doughnut flavors and two returning favorites for a limited time as part of the Spring Seasonal Collection. 

Here’s a lowdown on the doughnuts you’ll find in the collection: 

• NEW! Hershey’s Double Chocolate Doughnut: An original glazed doughnut dipped in Hershey’s milk chocolate icing and topped with chocolate flavored buttercream.   
• NEW! Strawberries and Kreme Doughnut: An unglazed doughnut featuring two different filling fillings — strawberry filling and fluffy Kreme. The doughnut is dipped in bright strawberry icing and finished with swirls of vanilla-flavored icing. 
• Banana Pudding Doughnut: An unglazed shell doughnut filled with banana pudding  ”kreme,” dipped in vanilla flavored icing, and topped with crushed wafer cookies and a buttercream flavored dollop. (If you’re a banana pudding person, then you already stopped reading and got in your car — no offense taken.)
• Original Glazed Blueberry Cake Doughnut: An original glazed cake doughnut with blueberry flavor and blueberry flavored bits.   

I don’t know about you, but I’m a chocolate-fiend and that Hershey’s doughnut is calling my name. 

What else is Krispy Kreme adding to the menu this spring?

Not only are there new doughnuts for the springtime, but Krispy Kreme has also added a Cookie Blast Latte to its menu. If it has “cookie” in the name, I’m obligated to try it.

The latte features cookie dough-flavored syrup blended with chocolate sauce and is topped with whipped cream and a sprinkle of cookie crumbles. Oh, and it’s available hot or frozen.

What’s leaving the Krispy Kreme menu?

Krispy Kreme will be saying goodbye to some winter favorites for now. The caramel dulce, chocolate truffle, raspberry cheesecake, and cinnamon sugar cake doughnuts will be taken off the menu (at least for the time being) to leave room for the sweet new spring creations.
